Worked like a gem. I did not have bicarbonate, or detergent, but I had diah washer pods and washing machine pods. Cut them up and used them... I did not even need 15 minutes or to scrape it, the stuff just poured out with the water. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing. Some cleaning experts advise not to go in circular motion. They claim creates more mess and takes longer. The better way of doing it is by following a S pattern. Your arm is not exhausted and you're not leaving streaks or marks behind.

It took a little scrubbing but my Revere pot is now sparkling again!!

The best thing I've found to easily clean my stainless steel pans when I occasionally burn something in them, like butter or whatever, is Weiman Glass Cook Top Cleaner And Polish. Works a hundred times better than just vinegar and baking soda. You can get it on Amazon. Just search Weiman Glass Cook Top Cleaner And Polish. They make a stainless steel cleaner and polish as well, but that is for cleaning your SS refrigerator, the SS body of your stove, dishwasher, etc. What you want for cleaning inside your SS pots and pans, especially to get the burnt on stuff off, is the cook top cleaner and polish. Believe me, you won't be sorry. It'll really clean your pots and pans and give them a brand new shine. Just add some hot water to the bottom of the pot or pan, squirt a bit of the stuff in, stir it around, let it sit a few minutes, then use one of those sponges that have the mildly-abrasive scrub sides to scrub the mess off. Afterwards rinse and dry. You're welcome.
