This is awesome! My father was a very good harmonica player in his younger years and recently decided to start playing again. I've been browsing through harmonica playing videos to share with him and in the process I'm slowly starting to fall in love with the instrument too! I don't need to be an expert to know this is musical mastery from both musicians!
I've had the great privelege of playing with Lucy in a few sessions and one or two gigs and she is indeed off the scale as far as percussionists go. She is probably the best bodhran player I have ever jammed with and I have played with a few over my far too many years on the planet!
@bluebossride It's called a cajon (spanish for box, I think) But they are pretty fun, easy to catch on to and even easier if you have drum experience. I bought an AA meinl cajon for only 100 bucks. It's definitely entry level, but it's still a fun instrument.
haha i just rapped the first verse of Deltron 3030's song Eye Examination it goes really really well i think xD i think i culd try to remix this or somthing
Jesus Wept. Lucy Randall is quite simply the best drummer (not just using this Cajon) I have ever come across, I mean - absolutely ever! - and I'm old. B Power & L Randall bring out something special from one another. Check out their other stuff up around these here parts - there's some virtuoso-naturally flowing bodhran tipping going on. Some of the stuff she gets up to seems to defy the laws of physics.

this sounds similar to his "Power & White Fairwell to Muswell Hill"
That's called a Cajon. Interesting story behind it when you google it too.
Sounds like a Low F to me. Probably customized a little, not sure what brand couldn't see it.
Sounds Legit "
Kinda uncool to not included the drummer's name in the description, dontcha think?
