I was working at a record store that sold actual records tapes and compact discs when mellow gold came out. My coworker said this guy is a one-hit wonder. I said nope this guy is a genius and he will be relevant for a long time!(I was right) 🥁🎶
Back in 1994 when I heard the first album that came out, the legendary Mellow Gold, I dowloaded MP3s and stored them in the /genius folder alongside Tom Waits and Grandaddy.
In the 90’s I saw Beck at the Concert Hall in Toronto and it was phenomenally different than other live shows-he was a man from a different era bringing us the goods. Absolutely beautiful musician Beck is indeed with a consistent track record recording unique albums to be played very, very loud. 😊
I'm impressed with his ability to do "Loser" live like that all these years after he released it. And I had no idea he could play blues slide guitar and harmonica. Cool.
Beck is amazing, live and on record. He’s able to genre jump with ease. Caught him on the “Sea Changes” tour with The Flaming Lips, who could ask for anything more? Epic!
Michael Cera is killing it.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The bio pic is cast! 100%
Right before I saw your post I swear I was watching this and thinking that Michael Cera would be perfect portraying Beck in a film. Not kidding.
@@RocketSurgeon433 came here to say this
😂 I was thinking he looks like Michael Cera too

Beck always remains magical - thank you for the wonderful upload.
I remember when this song came put. He was like 21 or 22 but he looked like a kid. How fast life goes. Still a damn good song.
he was 15

Man I had no idea this guy was still out there. This was a great song. Playing everywhere when it first came out.
Becks always ‘been out there’ and is due for a new album, cmon Beck
I have four (?) of his albums and he's seriously great! I love this song, but this is just the tip of the iceberg, which is his range of talent.
I'm so glad he has embraced the essence of this great work of musical art !
Thanks for sharing! Love me some Beck!!! He's just so good, and cute as several buttons. ❤☮🌎
If I had half his talent I would just listen to myself .So glad he shared .
A great guitarist can’t keep his mouth still .
Beck have to be one of the funniest entertaining shows I've seen. Brilliant ✌️🏴
His guitar skills have always been badly underappreciated by many. What a talent.
What do you mean? He's widely regarded as one of the best guitar players of all time. No, wait... nevermind... that's JEFF Beck
He’s actually playing a pretty simple slide progression in an open tuning. Just saying…
Just open tuning and a slide isn't difficult.
It's hard to not sound good with a slide in all fairness.
I just discovered his impressive guitar skills.
He is a genius and has his own genre.

his ealry influences and playing style was blues based. The blues is the base of any rock music created in the USA.
