Boom knuckes is actually kwite intelligent and does often teach the audience things not even the main character know, though often played as a joke. Rise of the TMNT Raph also is very intelligent in most matters, being the oldest child and the leader up until the movie. They both only resort to fists as their first method of solving a problem because it's their best attributes, being strong. Though, Raphael in RotTMNT gains mystic powers to make himself bigger and stronger, not because of his role as the "fighter" of the team, but because of his role as "protector". Since he's the oldest, biggest and leader of the team in that show, it's his responsibility to make sure his brothers are same along with teaching them how to be independent from him (Pizza Puffs episode, when he saves Leo from being pushed off a building, the finale of the show, etc)
They may both be the red, hotheaded, slightly naive brawn of their respective teams, but for different reasons. Not to mention, in most iterations of Raphael, he's only the fighter because of his short temper and flawed thinking of how to solve certain situation through violence. It's not even because he's the strongest turtle, that title goes to Mikey in most, if not all, versions of the four. Knuckles, however, is the strongest in his team (unless you count Shadow as one of the good guys or Sonic when he's actually pissed but even then that's only in the Archie comics and I think Sonic X) and his strength plays a contributing factor in how his team operates and functions properly

Sonic is leonardo- they're both blue and sonic is kind of the leader main guy of the group
Tails is Michaelangelo- they're orange and typically the youngest

FUN FACT! Through sheer determination, people on their death beds are able to last awhile, just to say goodbye to their families, and that hamster waiting until seeing their owner, having lost hair prior, just to then die, seems kinda like that. The hamster had an attachment, and held out through something which caused them to lose all their hair, *JUST* to see their owner one last time, before letting themselves die of whatever they were dying from before. It is incredibly depressing that their owner wasn't there for them through all that, and the hamster still held an attachment nonetheless.
The only reason the self-game-end rate is higher in places with high trans harassment for trans people *POST* HRT and bottom surgery, is because they usually just see transitioning as an end goal, not a means to a better life, because they already know they won't be allowed a better life, because of commonplace transphobia. When I was about 10 years old we got a Siberian hamster named Yogi, She escaped from her cage a month after I got her, she escaped, and was missing for about a week. I found her eventually in the pantry. She built herself a nest from the shaggy carpet, and was eating various things from the pantry like cereal. It was also evident that she was surviving off of the dog's water bull, that was less than a foot away.
