Thanks so much for watching this video! 😊 Please note that this video is about how to dilate faster once your contractions have started. These tools work for both, early labor (mild and irregular contractions), as well as active labor (strong and regular contractions). So, if you haven’t got any contractions so far, and if you are looking for ways to dilate faster, then kindly refer to our other video about how to dilate faster: ua-cam.com/video/NGZgz_8fCCg/v-deo.html
@@mamonaali636 Hi there! 😊 Thanks a lot for your feedback! We are happy that you like our video!! Please note that the techniques that we explain in this video are intended to help you dilate faster once you are in labor. If you want to prepare your body for labor during the final weeks before labor, then you can try the exercises that we explain in this video (given that your doctor allows it): ua-cam.com/video/2ro-ytHfEnA/v-deo.html And if you want to prepare your cervix for labor during the weeks before labor, then you may find this video helpful: ua-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/v-deo.html We hope this helps! 😊 All the best for you and your baby!! ❤️
I watched this video and it helped me during my second labour. My mom gave me warm water to drink and I kept going to the toilet. I went 3 times before I went to the hospital. Also walked round the center table in our sitting room. Guess all these fastened the labour as I didn’t spend up to 30mins in the labour room before baby came out. My mom was super supportive by the way and God was the greatest!

Thank you so much for sharing- this shows me there advises ‘actually’ work. I’m going to try this too when my labour is near ( I’m 36 weeks) And thankyou for this video ❤ to the couple above
I can’t thank you enough, I delivered my beautiful baby yesterday and the labor experience was amazing because I followed some of your tips to speed up dilation, I kept myself hydrated, empty my bladder frequently and kept my feet’s warm during labor. My labor was 7 hours and it was the fastest labor I have ever experience. Thanks tons.

I felt so bad when you lovely people apologised for your accent. You are taking time To help women accros the world have a better birth experience . You could have done this video in German and many of us would never know about these tips. You sound lovely. Thank you for the video ❤

I love your videos! I’m a doula, TCM practitioner and EBB professional member, and I think this channel is perfect. You speak very clearly (no, not a remark about your accents, but they’re clear too!) and describe and explain things really well. THANK YOU!
Hi there Lise! 😊 Thanks SO MUCH for your lovely comment and feedback! 😘 We are very sorry for our late reply! You can do it!!! 6cm is A LOT of progress! So you are almost there!!! 👍❤️😊 Remember: one you are fully dilated, the pushing phase is a piece of cake!! We wish you ALL THE BEST!! Don't give up! BILLIONS of other women have done this before you - you can do it too!! ❤️❤️
This has become my favorite channel during my pregnancy. I’m 37 weeks and this channel makes me feel so much more at ease about things because of how lighthearted things are
I’ll be honest, I thought I had come to a conclusion within 10 seconds that you two were not for me. For some reason I kept watching and it took less than half the video for you to win me over. You are so cheerful, as a midwife I was worried about what you were going to say but I have not had issue with anything you have advised, I love the balance of science, medical and natural advice you are giving. You seem really aware of what might make your videos difficult for people to watch and acknowledging it is so smart. I will continue to watch your videos. They are really helpful and uplifting to me as I am pregnant with my first child. Thank you
Oh, what a wonderful feedback!! 😊 Thanks SO MUCH for this! 😘 It really means a lot if people take the time to write such a detailed feedback!! It is very much appreciated! And we are very happy to hear that you find our video helpful! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
I watched this but in the end didnt need these tips cos i dilated from 1cm - 10cm in 4 hours anyway 😂😂😂 very unexpected as a first time mum ha. Good luck to anyone else waiting to give birth!
@@murkmustafa I think a lot of it is just down to luck / my personal biology. But some things I did were: - Eat 6x dates every day starting at 37 weeks pregnant - Didn't have any pain relief during labour - Tried to keep active whilst I was contracting. So getting up and moving around the room every time a contraction came on. - Lots of hypnobirthing techniques so: up breathing throughout contractions, visualization, I brought in LED candles and lavender room spray and kept the lights dimmed. I also gave birth in a birth centre which was midwife led so no doctors and generally just a very relaxing calm atmosphere. Good luck!!
I was very lucky then I was 4cm dalited on Saturday 3:15am n I gave birth 4:54am I was like God is Good cause I remember praying n annoiting my belly n declaring that baby will be out in no time n boom 4 push he was out even the nurses were surprised n saying they were giving me until 7am to have baby lol God did that ..what u want u speak declare n believe wholeheartedly...
@@murkmustafamy first was a whole 24hours omg I was lazy maybe that is why ..but my second I work straight up until my baby arrives the day before I deliver I was 40 weeks n 3 days I had intense intercourse that morning n it started my contractions ..I wait my contractions were 4 minutes apart n went to the hospital if I had waited another hour and half I would have my baby home 😂😂
I have been following you guys through my pregnancy... currently at the hospital about to deliver my baby girl. I live your energy, your accent, and your unfulter interaction as a couple... Am 9 weeks away , first time mommy. Am watching a lot of birthing videos to try and have an idea of what’s waiting for me , but I guess it’s something I have to experience 💙
Hi there 😊, totally agree! Every pregnancy and every delivery is different. But it's never wrong to get an idea of what's waiting for you because it makes a huge difference if you go into labor with confidence - knowing what expects you - or if you don't know what's waiting for you. We see this all the time. Plus, if you have a birth partner, it never hurts if they too know what they can do for you during labor! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, thanks SO MUCH for your lovely comment and feedback!! 😘 We really appreciate you saying that! And we are particularly happy and grateful to hear that you find our videos helpful!! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

@@nicoleelizabeth6693 😊😊 Thanks so much for your lovely comment! Originally, we are from Austria. Austrian is basically a German dialect. We are sure this has somehow influenced our accent too! 😊 We wish you all the best for you and your baby!! ❤️❤️
Nice video. Im now 35 weeks with gestational hypertension. My baby also has mild IUGR. With COVID-19 in place everything is so scary. All the best everyone. Wishing everyone a great birth experience.
Thanks so much for your lovely comment!! 😊 Our son's weight was also much lower compared to what it was supposed to be. However, he caught up pretty fast. We are sure, everything will be fine with your baby too! 😊 We wish you all the best for you and your baby!! ❤️❤️

Hi there 😊, many thanks for your lovely feedback!! We are super happy that our accents are not THAT bad after all!! 😘 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there Ermayln 😊, we are sending you lots of positive thoughts and energy!! In our experience, the two most important things that can help women go into labor around their due date are exercises and relaxation. Here is why: Relaxation helps keep your stress levels in check (stress hormones can block the release of labor hormones which is why relaxation is so important). And the problem is often that stress levels increase towards the end of the pregnancy, particularly in women who fear that they might be induced if labor does not start. It's like a vicious circle...And relaxation can help a lot here. This can be a massage treatment, yoga, meditation. And one thing that we would do at the clinic in a case like yours, is acupuncture because it really really helps women relax. Exercises on the other hand, are the best preparation for the body if you want to go into labor spontaneously (IF your doctor allows it): a 30min walk per day is already a great start. However, one thing that has a particular strong effect on the cervix are exercises on a birthing ball (as shown in many scientific studies). We explain how exercises on a birthing ball work in this video: ua-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/v-deo.html. All the best for you and your baby!! ❤️❤️
Hello Lourdes!! Welcome to our channel and thanks so much for watching our videos!! We are super happy if you find them helpful!! ❤️😊 Greetings back from London to the wonderful Philippines and all the best for you and your baby!! ❤️❤️

Thanks so much for your feedback Zoe!! We are really happy that you find our video helpful!! ❤️😊 Also, thanks a lot for sharing your story! Oh noooo! Don't say that about your accents, don't think that matters when you're giving good information and also gave such a positive and funny attitude between the two, I really liked that. Hello from Portugal, my baby is due at the end of August and getting anxious about the birth experience 🥰
Hi there 😊, thanks SO MUCH for your lovely comment!! We really appreciate it and are super happy that you find our video helpful!! ❤️😊 Don't be anxious about birth! Thanks so much for your lovely comment Samantha!! We really appreciate your feedback!! ❤️😊 Exercise is the most important thing that we recommend to all women who want to have a natural and unmedicated birth! We really see this all the time at the clinic: women who exercise tend to have a much easier labor and birth and they are also the ones who tend to go into labor spontaneously... The only problem is that not every woman is allowed to exercise during her pregnancy... We wish you all the best for you and your baby and that you can have the very birth that you are hoping for! You deserve it! ❤️❤️
Love the chemistry between the two of you, so cute! I also enjoyed how the written part of 'labour squats' read 'labour squads', I thought we were in for some advice about getting together with other labouring women and forming a squad to all encourage each other haha!!
Hi there Joanne 😊, thanks SO MUCH for your lovely feedback!! 😘😘 Yes, we know!! We found the mistake exactly 4 days after we launched our video!! But then it took off already (in terms of video views), so we could not delete it and re-upload it... 😩😩😩 But we really like your way of thinking: forming a squad of women encouraging each other - LOVE IT!! I am 39weeks and 5days today, I did the nipple stimulation, started labour and I'm 2cm dialated... Hoping to increase labour more. Thanks for this video
Hi there 😊, you are MOST WELCOME - we are happy to hear that it helped you!! 😊 Please note that when a woman has had at least some contractions in the past already, it is normally easier to intensify them with the help of nipple stimulation! And then there are also other tools which have helped other women in similar situations to induce labor: 1. Reflexology (same as nipple stimulation: it may not be done with a few minutes per day only) 2. Acupuncture (this can work particularly well if your stress levels are really high; and please note: it has to be acupuncture; acupressure would most probably not help in your case) 3. Exercises on a birthing ball Of course, there is also Castor oil. However, personally, we always treat Castor oil as last resort simply because of the side effects. Also, you can never be sure if it is going to work... Still, it CAN be super effective for labor induction if your doctor approves. We talk more about these tools and also how to apply them in these 2 videos: ua-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/v-deo.html (reflexology, Castor oil) ua-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/v-deo.html (birth ball exercises) We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️

It’s currently 3.36am, I’m 39+2 sipping warm water (with a splash of apple and blackcurrant concentrate) while sitting on my ball with contractions 5 minutes apart. I just had a bowl of pasta and for some reason, am feeling hungry again 😂 first baby so I’m intrigued to see how painful this could get. Atm it’s giving 6.5 on the pain scale. Looking forward to seeing lil baby girl 😍🙌🏾
Oh wow! 😊 It's a pity we are only seeing this now! We wanted to wish you all the best for the delivery of your baby! But we are guessing that you are holding your baby in your arms already?? We hope all went well!! ❤️❤️
Thanks such a lot for your video! We believe from conception, through birth, into fresh air parenting, the process is designed to thrive with united teammates. Yet even as a dual dr family, I struggle to find resources to help my husband understand how he can practice his involvement in the mysteries that medical systems typically take out of birth. We pray for a home birth if God wills, and what a gift to find a rare channel where a husband-wife team teaches together to help us get on the same page with new ideas. We thank Him for you both and desire His joy over your whole family!

40+4 here and no signs of labour starting up any time soon 😅 Update: had my daughter 2 days later 🥰 thank you guys for keeping me educated through my pregnancy!!! 💛
Hi there 😊, please note that on average, a pregnancy lasts between 38 and 42 weeks. Therefore, it may still be too early for your body... It very much depends on your cervix and the position of your baby. That said, in general, several things could help induce labor: In this video (ua-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/v-deo.html) we explain several tools to prepare the cervix for labor and to induce labor. Moreover, birth ball exercises could help (ua-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/v-deo.html) On top of that, the right sitting position can also support the whole process (ua-cam.com/video/K5uxfr0YJ_E/v-deo.html) We really hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
You guys are a joy to watch. Yes with your accent as well 🤭 Love your sweet spirit and playfulness as a couple ❤ The only thing I kept misunderstanding was the word “dilate”. The way you pronounce this word made me confused thinking you were talking about “delay” the exact opposite 😅 Love your visuals too! There’s great value to your work here! Thank you 🙏🏽
Hi there 😊, thanks so much for your very lovely feedback! We are very happy to hear that you like our content! 😊❤️ 👍 Regarding our pronunciation of the word "dilation": we know the problem! 😅 At least 10 other moms have told us the same! 😅😅 One would assume that our pronunciation improved over time. But unfortunately, I doubt that we pronounce it better in our more recent videos... 😬😬 Anyways, thanks a lot for your feedback again and we wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
I am 6months pregnant with my third child and these tips I will definitely keep in mind when the day come to bring my baby boy into the world 🌎 so excited I will definitely drink water and squat more.☺️

Thank you both so very much for all of the invaluable information about labor and delivery! I had to be induced for my baby born today due to severe preeclampsia and I employed many of your tips in order to progress my labor as much as possible. Though the experience started as a more stressful event because I was only 33 weeks pregnant and was very ill, the delivery of my little 3 pound 9 ounce baby girl went as beautifully and smoothly as it possibly could have been and many of your tips really made the difference! You are wonderful!!
Hi there 😊, that's GREAT to hear!! 😊 First of all, CONGRATULATIONS on your baby girl from the 2 of us!!! 🥳🥳🥳 We are super happy to hear that our tips helped you with an easier labor and birth 😘 and we are particularly happy to hear that everything went well given the many things that life threw at you during your pregnancy and labor! This is so helpful! And also, your little bickering is the cutest thing ever. I don’t think I could ever record a video with my hubs. We would disagree the whole time 🤣🤣
Hi there 😊, thanks so much for your lovely comment! 😊 We too tend to disagree on many things! You two are wonderful! You are both adorable in every way and full of valuable content. I'm so glad I came across your videos tonight. This is my 4th baby. We have 3 girls ages 12, 10, and 7. This is our first boy and I'm 35 weeks. Just trying to brush up. Feeling nervous this time. I've always had my babies at home in the water, I will be in the hospital this time, but I wish I could be home.
Hi there Sierra! ❤️ Thanks SO MUCH for your lovely comment and feedback! ❤️ And CONGRATULATIONS on kid number 4! 😊❤️ We can absolutely understand that you are nervous since you will be in the hospital this time. However, please don't be!! Everything will be fine!! The most important thing to focus on is that very moment when you will be holding your adorable and healthy little boy in your arms.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! We are happy that you like our video!!
Please note that the techniques that we explain in this video are intended to help you dilate faster once you are in labor.
If you want to prepare your body for labor during the final weeks before labor, then you can try the exercises that we explain in this video (given that your doctor allows it): ua-cam.com/video/2ro-ytHfEnA/v-deo.html
And if you want to prepare your cervix for labor during the weeks before labor, then you may find this video helpful: ua-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/v-deo.html

Hi I'm 39 weeks now.. walking 30 minutes everyday is enough for natural birth?
I watched this video and it helped me during my second labour. My mom gave me warm water to drink and I kept going to the toilet. I went 3 times before I went to the hospital. Also walked round the center table in our sitting room. Guess all these fastened the labour as I didn’t spend up to 30mins in the labour room before baby came out. My mom was super supportive by the way and God was the greatest!

Thank you

@@murkmustafa I think a lot of it is just down to luck / my personal biology. But some things I did were:
- Eat 6x dates every day starting at 37 weeks pregnant
- Didn't have any pain relief during labour
- Tried to keep active whilst I was contracting.

Am 9 weeks away , first time mommy. Am watching a lot of birthing videos to try and have an idea of what’s waiting for me , but I guess it’s something I have to experience 💙
Hi there 😊,
totally agree!
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Hi there Ermayln 😊,
we are sending you lots of positive thoughts and energy!!
In our experience, the two most important things that can help women go into labor around their due date are exercises and relaxation. Here is why:
Relaxation helps keep your stress levels in check (stress hormones can block the release of labor hormones which is why relaxation is so important).

All the best for you and your baby!! ❤️❤️
Walking, wearing socks, neeple stumulation works for my first baby. Now am watching again to remember
That's great to hear! 😊 ❤️ 👍
Love you accents!
36 weeks + 5 days right now! I’m hoping for an unmedicated labor and birth!
Thank you for all of the information and advice.
Thanks so much for your lovely comment Samantha!! We really appreciate your feedback!! ❤️😊
Exercise is the most important thing that we recommend to all women who want to have a natural and unmedicated birth!
Hi there Joanne 😊,
thanks SO MUCH for your lovely feedback!! 😘😘
Yes, we know!! We found the mistake exactly 4 days after we launched our video!! But then it took off already (in terms of video views), so we could not delete it and re-upload it... 😩😩😩
But we really like your way of thinking: forming a squad of women encouraging each other - LOVE IT!!
So, let's just pretend we did that on purpose... 😅😅😅
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

I am 39weeks and 5days today, I did the nipple stimulation, started labour and I'm 2cm dialated... Hoping to increase labour more. Thanks for this video
Hi there 😊,
you are MOST WELCOME - we are happy to hear that it helped you!! 😊
Please note that when a woman has had at least some contractions in the past already, it is normally easier to intensify them with the help of nipple stimulation!
And then there are also other tools which have helped other women in similar situations to induce labor:
1. Reflexology (same as nipple stimulation: it may not be done with a few minutes per day only)
2. Acupuncture (this can work particularly well if your stress levels are really high; and please note: it has to be acupuncture; acupressure would most probably not help in your case)
3. Exercises on a birthing ball
Of course, there is also Castor oil. However, personally, we always treat Castor oil as last resort simply because of the side effects. Also, you can never be sure if it is going to work... Still, it CAN be super effective for labor induction if your doctor approves.
We talk more about these tools and also how to apply them in these 2 videos: ua-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/v-deo.html (reflexology, Castor oil)
ua-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/v-deo.html (birth ball exercises)
We hope this helps! 😊
We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️

39 weeks of my pregnancy and stl 5cm.yesterday is my due date..but still hoping fr good normal delivery..
Hi there 😊!
If you are already 5cm dilated, we wouldn't worry at all! Keeping dilation going is not as difficult as inducing labor naturally. Nipple stimulation, for example, can be of great help here! 😊
We wish you all the best for you and your baby and we send you lots of positive thoughts for a normal delivery!! ❤️❤️
Love the positive attitude and all the info. Accent isn’t too bad ❤️
Hi there Nina 😊,

I'm 35 weeks and 3 days, happy to have found your video, although I'm going to be alone at hospital...but I will try some of your suggestions. Thank you!
Hi there Katherine 😊,
you are MOST WELCOME!! And don't worry: you can do many of these things without a partner. The effect is the same! 😊
Can we ask though: in which country do they now allow you to have a partner?
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
@@CareAboutLittleOnes I am Indian. And in most hospitals in India, even in the big cities, they don’t allow the partner or any family member inside the labour room. It’s sad, but true.
@@garimakilledar5810 That's so cruel!! Labor is frightening enough! Women should really be allowed to have a partner on their side... ;-(
I just checked the date, and my wife is also 35 weeks and 3 days today🙂
In Bangladesh, men are not allowed to enter the delivery room even if it's the husband 😑
Simple, crisp and concise. You've taught a lot in little time. Very informative. Wish I'd come across this channel during my first pregnancy but better late than never

All the best for you and your baby!! ❤️❤️
Oh wow! 😊
It's a pity we are only seeing this now!
Hi there 😊,

40+4 here and no signs of labour starting up any time soon 😅
Update: had my daughter 2 days later 🥰 thank you guys for keeping me educated through my pregnancy!!! 💛
Hi there 😊,
please note that on average, a pregnancy lasts between 38 and 42 weeks. Therefore, it may still be too early for your body... It very much depends on your cervix and the position of your baby.
That said, in general, several things could help induce labor:
In this video (ua-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/v-deo.html) we explain several tools to prepare the cervix for labor and to induce labor.
Moreover, birth ball exercises could help (ua-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/v-deo.html)
On top of that, the right sitting position can also support the whole process (ua-cam.com/video/K5uxfr0YJ_E/v-deo.html)
We really hope this helps! 😊
We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
Thank you so much for the update. Am 40+4 today.

Yes with your accent as well 🤭
Love your sweet spirit and playfulness as a couple ❤
The only thing I kept misunderstanding was the word “dilate”. The way you pronounce this word made me confused thinking you were talking about “delay” the exact opposite 😅
Love your visuals too!
There’s great value to your work here! Thank you 🙏🏽
Hi there 😊,
thanks so much for your very lovely feedback! We are very happy to hear that you like our content! 😊❤️ 👍
Regarding our pronunciation of the word "dilation": we know the problem! 😅 At least 10 other moms have told us the same! 😅😅
One would assume that our pronunciation improved over time. But unfortunately, I doubt that we pronounce it better in our more recent videos... 😬😬
Anyways, thanks a lot for your feedback again and we wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Hi there 😊,
that's GREAT to hear!! 😊
First of all, CONGRATULATIONS on your baby girl from the 2 of us!!! 🥳🥳🥳
We are super happy to hear that our tips helped you with an easier labor and birth 😘 and we are particularly happy to hear that everything went well given the many things that life threw at you during your pregnancy and labor!

Thanks SO MUCH for your lovely comment and feedback! ❤️ And CONGRATULATIONS on kid number 4! 😊❤️
We can absolutely understand that you are nervous since you will be in the hospital this time. However, please don't be!! Everything will be fine!! The most important thing to focus on is that very moment when you will be holding your adorable and healthy little boy in your arms. How you get there really doesn't matter! You can do it!!
