Traditional crafts like this should try as hard as possible to promote another arts and crafts economic and social movement... Great products are made by people like this and many people love the object that has had so much skill and care and love built in!

Myagawa-san (I hope I got that correct)... "Arigato gosai-imas" and a bow from may waist for showing me the way to make my own unique brush. I spent 3 years at Yokota AB outside Tokyo and while there, was able to tour Japan by motocycle (To Kyushu, Beppu and Northern Honshu, and Hokaido. 6:30 So, you eyeball a pinch of bristles, fold the wire in a loop and push it through, then place the bristles in the loop, bend the bristles around the wire, and pull the wire and bristles into the hole very tightly, but don't pull any of it through? Any more details or insights on this would be appreciated.
Woodworking Enthusiasts I would love to try one of those brushes, they are beautiful and natural bristles are so much nicer than nylon or other plastics. Thank you.
Most modern day brushes use nylon bristles. I have tried searching for about an hour and can't come up with anything. "nylon bristles supplier" "nylon wire" "nylon thread". I don't know htf you're supposed to find a supplier for what should be a very cheap and easy to produce product.

the drilling part is a bit ridiculous, it takes a lot time and can be done much better by a machine via CNC. He should better put his knowledge and experience into a machine which can do the job for him. I develop products myself and every step I can automatise myself I will do and I'm never looking back to hand crafting because it takes too much time.

I think the hole is tapered such that only the wire passes through the back- the folded bristles are too big to pass through the hole in the rear.
