The most successful societies in history have focused on similarities than differences. As we "classify " more division amongst ourselves the farther apart we become.

To be blunt, a person's sex life isn't an appropriate topic for a stranger. If I don't know you, why do I need to know about your personal life at all? Why would you introduce yourself as Bill, who's into kink or Sally, who's a Dom? If you wouldn't do that, why is George who's into other guys appropriate? Why can't we just leave it for a later conversation after we've gotten to know each other better? I don't think there's anything wrong with what consenting adults do with one another. I just don't want to have to know about it if the only time I'm ever going to see you is on the train one time in my entire life.
I tried so hard to like this class but I found the professor to be quite 'cringey'. He puts words into his students' mouths. The first two students were clearly shy but he took them on a weird journey. I don't mean to criticise but showing an American/Nigerian guy statistics on how the percentage of Nigerians don't agree with gay marriage and not mentioning that the country is highly religious is odd to me. I fact, most countries on the graph were/are super Christian, so I would say that's a large factor that was totally overlooked 🙁
Agreed! The professor and his students use the term 'traditional values' as if that means old-fashioned, without taking into account that many countries around the world are deeply religious and therefore are against homosexuality.
I generalize it as a mental health problem with delusion as a main symptom. I think all these weird fetishes are stemming from the videos you can find on the internet.

What are the most successful societies in history? As a historian, I am intrigued by your assertion.
Can you share some examples.

I think phobia is an overused misunderstood word to be honest
It is. Nobody is "scared" of gay people.

Well, that’s the point of college. Challenge your beliefs and make you truly think.
@@03weeksago.77but college is liberal and doesn't allow dissenting opinion so how do you debate?

It is amusing to see an American sociologist undervalue the negative aspects of the “religious fact”

Death before being gay 😂
Don't accept delusion.
