I hate videos like this bc they don’t show measurements or how they do it
I’ll make sure to add those in future build videos!!
It's a shame the bottom cover isn't shown
Yes sorry, totally missed that with filming😇
Glad that you kept your fingers
That’s always a challenge for me😂😂
Really good at explaining things and all measurements and tools/hardware used was a big help.
Thanks😇
I didn't hear anyone talking
You are right I want to do that a lot more...
If you’re familiar with woodworking this was all pretty simple… if this wasn’t then maybe you should have someone else make it for you and just continue leaving smartsss comments on people’s posts.
Yeah because its not like anyone just getting into woodworking would watch this video nope not a single one at all.
Where s the bottom? Did I miss something?
This was so easy to follow but if you told us what sizes to use that would've been perfect never the less great video x
Thanks! I don’t know the sizes anymore!
Is there no bottom to this?
Yes there is.. Just boards I forgot to film it 😇
❤❤❤❤
Very easy to install.
It’s an easy project ideal for the beginner woodworker!
I wish you put the measurements in the description box.
I’m sorry! I’ll do it in future videos! Thanks for the feedback!!
Hello great job!!!
Can you give me the measurements and pieces please thanks
I don’t have them, made it on the go!
Awesome design and thanks for sharing. Totally building one or two of these for my boys.. You have skills so will be more like 5 hours for me 🙃
They are awesome to have for your kid’s toys!! Build one it’s easier than you think!👍🏻
I'm not sure he built it in an hour. He must have had router bit in place and already set up. There are 2 different lengths of wood, which require 2 different setups. It's very nice without a doubt.
I did actually having everything in place!👍
Did I miss something? Is it a bottomless chest? LOL How did you fix the base? Looks like it was internal as I couldn't see anything from the outside at the bottom. Great job by the way!
Dean Jackson thank you! It’s just a plywood base!
Was most of the wood that you use 3/8 thick and 3 inches wide ????
OK so did I miss the bottom of this really great looking piece or is there not one?
No it was not covered in the video but it’s there😂
Nicely done mate 👍
Thank you very much! It's an easy project but it was a lot of fun to make!
Hiya, what size wood was used in this project please? Many thanks. Paddy.
Paddy, honestly, can’t remember!! It was a long time ago!!
at 0:44 why rip the planks only at 1:26 to start joining them up again? I've got some wide planks, and I was thinking to just use them like that. What's the reasoning here?
That’s just for looks. So that you see smaller planks! But you could definitely do that with wider planks!
@@FennahMakes Thank you! very much appreciate the reply.
No problem!👍🏻
I would like to build this for my son , could you please send me the cut list . Thanks so much , really like your channel
Hi Rob, I really don’t have a cut list, I just build it on the go! It really just on UA-cam preferred size you clean make it any size you want! Thanks for the love!👍🏻
Lovely job!
Thank you Barry!!
Hey what kind of hinges should I use? Just want to make sure I get the right product
I actually can't remember the hinges as I didn't order them online, I got them at the local hardware store. But any hinge will do, just make sure it's strong enough to lift the lid.

@millionsmontana no problem!
Bottom?
👍🏽 prachtig gebouwd. Bedankt. - ♿Lisa🛠
Hee Lisa! Goede tip! Ga ik zeker doen in mijn volgende filmpjes!👍🏻
Did I miss the bottom?
I don’t think I covered that in the video!
How much do you think this weighs? I would love to make this for my balcony but it has a wheight capacity of 100kg/m2
Use thin boards as I did it weighs around 40 pounds I guess!!
@@FennahMakes thank you! What are the dimensions ? I would like to make a box of 180cm by 60cm so I think it will weigh maybe double?
I don’t know the exact dimensions anymore but that seems about right!!
@@FennahMakes thanks for the info! Gonna try this with some free pallets I picked up from the road, so if I fail there's no money lost😅
Great! Let me know how it turned out!!
Very simple and easy to follow. Thanks great job!
Thanks!! Hope you enjoyed the video! Are you gonna make one yourself??
If you don’t mind what’s the size of board you started with and what did you rip them down to
They are standard 10x1 centimeters no ripping down.. but you can use any size you want for this..
Fennah Woodworking In the video it looked like you had the wider board and you ripped it down on the tablesaw
No you are right.. I switched board size after sawing the thicker boards
Wasnt it too heavy?
Lifting is a 2 man job because of the size!! In weight it’s ok!
what type of glue did you use? how long did it take?
Just regular wood glue! It took about an hour!!
Dimensions? I would like to build one and would like to know cuts length. Thanks
I don’t even know anymore just build it on the go!
