I thought at the begining of the video the car was already in good shape until you zoom in the hood. It turn out to be a huge difference after you’ve done your magic !! Thanks again Brian
Really enjoyed watching this. My brother had a spitfire in the 70's. It is an awesome car. You did an absolutely amazing job bringing the paint & looks back to life.
I’m not a brown fan, but that’s a beautiful brown, really cool reflection shades. I am however a huge fan of single stage. So enjoyable and responsive to work with, and as long as pair your combos right it cuts well and finishing is a breeze. I am obsessive about residue and working clean, so the extra residue doesn’t change my normal pad cleaning process. Thanks, B!
I'm glad you did this video, I have a client that has one of these and multiple other cars of this vintage that all need to be detailed but I haven't offered to do it because I'm not sure what's the best way to do it safely. So far the most I do for him is just wash them with a pH neutral wash and wax. Now I know about single stage paint from this video I now know where to look for more information. Thanks mate.
Beautiful job on this classic! I liked the transition you did zooming in on the vinyl sticker inside the shop and zooming out when it was outside. Very cool. Keep up the good work 🍻
Lovely work, as usual Brian! Thanks for sharing your process. On a side note, I found it amusing to see just how massive your microfiber towels looked while wiping down that wee little car!🙂
Great video with good tips and pointers. I recently completed a Triumph TR6 using a uro fibre 50/50 with Scholl Concepts S20 Black and coated it with 303 Graphene. It came up really well but probably use a wax in future. Classic cars are so different to work on. 😍
Wow just beautiful work and thank you for educating us on single stage paint. I’m definitely impressed with the glossome wax every time I see it in a video. Thank you.
Hey Brian. I’ve never worked on single stage paint before, all my customers have had base coat clear coat. Boy did I ever learn a lot on product selection. Thanks for putting out this video. By the way, I absolutely love Glossome. My Porsche customer was super happy with it.
Awesome job as always Brian (and I suspect you knew which pad/polish combination would work before you even did the tests 😉) As a Brit it makes me proud to see a Spitfire looking so great 👍
I loved the video! I assume that you let the LVR cure overnight. When you come back to put the cherry on top, do you use any product to remove any dust or other particles that might have settled? You showed the beginning gloss…what was the final? Super job Brian!
Too bad you couldn't polish out those U S. spec 5 mph bumper extensions, my God do they look absolutely brutal 😳 ....your work on the other hand Bryan, on point😎
Do you use a panel wipe between the correction and acrylic process? And what panel wipe do you use? I've had issues with some single stage paints where it seems like the panel wipe (not IPA) seems to dry out the paint.
Wow that turned out super I almost purchased the dewalt I ended up getting a adams 15mm because I have a dodge dually and I also have a 32 foot travel trailer it would have been nice but extra cost of batteries also did order some 3d products and Uro fibre pads from carzilla can’t wait to try everything the weather is still quite crappy up here in Vancouver bc thanks Brian
Looks gorgeous. One question though: As you've used quite an aggressive combination, wouldnt it have made sense to make a second pass with a finishing polish like the M3.02 to get an even better finish and get rid of any haze?
I wasn't aware Triumph even made them in left-hand drive! Ah that brown - the colour of every British man's corduroy trousers back in the 70's. Foul! 🤣 One thing I've been meaning to ask though - have you fallen out with the Eurofiber 50/50 pads? Rarely see you use them these days. In the past I would have expected you to stay with the F6 and switch up to the euro fiber pad on something like this!
@Apex Detail oh wow, that's not good at all! But good to know before I put in an order though. Thanks Brian. Lake Country it is then for my next order I reckon!
Very cool. I would like to see video on that boat in the background. Question: did you let the Extreme solutions 403 cure 24 hours, or can you wax or seal right over top of it immediately? Good video.
I thought at the begining of the video the car was already in good shape until you zoom in the hood. It turn out to be a huge difference after you’ve done your magic !! Thanks again Brian
Can't wait to see the De Walt segment 😍 🙌
Love those cars! While stationed in Italy in the early 80's one of my buds bought a TR6 and what a blast that little car was!!!
Always a pleasure Brian excellent content each and every time.
Great content as always.
Your work and the Color of the Triumph is Stunning 👌
I'm so glad he restored the paint. It's probably the only thing on the car that will work consistently!
I was never a big fan of that color until now. Amazing results guys.
Great job Brian. A lot of people are afraid of single stage.
Really enjoyed watching this. My brother had a spitfire in the 70's. It is an awesome car. You did an absolutely amazing job bringing the paint & looks back to life.
Good to see the shop manager!
Fantastic work!!
Thank you! Cheers!

Single Stage Paint.... Such a Great turn around... ~! Customer was Happy !! ;-)
Man oh Man, OUTSTANDING!!
Wow - looks fantastic

Great job again buddy. Nice application combination. Next ..that bass boat..lol
Beautiful job on this classic! I liked the transition you did zooming in on the vinyl sticker inside the shop and zooming out when it was outside. Very cool. Keep up the good work 🍻
Awesome like new
Great video
Thanks!
I wish I had the time to drive up and have you detail my new Camaro!
Always an excellent informative video ✊Thanks Brian another for the reference videos
Classic definition of a sports car. Nice turnaround!
Lovely work, as usual Brian! Thanks for sharing your process.
On a side note, I found it amusing to see just how massive your microfiber towels looked while wiping down that wee little car!🙂
Probably one of the best videos you have ever done, ton of info, and techniques 👍👏
Thanks 👍
Better than new!!

Excellent work!
Many thanks!
Very nice!
What were the final gloss readings???
99-100
Fantastic demonstration of each product and what a beautiful outcome. Thanks again Brian! 🤜🏼🤛🏼
My pleasure!
Wow one of my uncles had one! Fun cars to drive
Wow just beautiful work and thank you for educating us on single stage paint. I’m definitely impressed with the glossome wax every time I see it in a video. Thank you.
Brian, would you do a compare/contrast with the DeWALT and Shinemate cordless polishers?
Now on the list.
As always amazing
Been looking forward to this one!

I've only been watching your channel for a couple of weeks now and have learned a lot, but thought I detected a PA accent. Hello from Lancaster!
Awesome job as always Brian (and I suspect you knew which pad/polish combination would work before you even did the tests 😉) As a Brit it makes me proud to see a Spitfire looking so great 👍
Nice

I know...they look quite odd.
@@apexdetail85 odd...I guess that's one word to use🤔😋
@@apexdetail85 I was wondering how many times you ran into those. Haha
Do you use a panel wipe between the correction and acrylic process? And what panel wipe do you use? I've had issues with some single stage paints where it seems like the panel wipe (not IPA) seems to dry out the paint.
Yes....Gyeon prep.
Right on! The Dewalt is fine...just a bit heavy for a long day.
Does the glossome wax need and ipa / panel prep wipe down before application?
Which angel wax do you think is best to buff a silver birch color on a truck? Btw great video💯
Hi Brian…what do you use to remove mold from cars interior?
Hey Brian just wondering are u still doing rinseless washing? And if so what are u using?
From time to time....We use American Detail Garage Wipeout.
Could you do a ceramic coating over single-stage paint?
You can...a second layer would be needed for even coverage. I dont...I favor acrylic on single stage.
Brain great video i have a 2012 bentley continental BY WHITE is my Clear coat hard or soft.
A 12' should be medium.
Another great video! Can you post a link for that paint gauge and gloss meter? I would like to purchase those thanks!

What is crusting? Never heard that term. Thank you in advance
Not much to say except beautiful results. I would take it to a car show anytime ‼️ 👍✌️☮️
Looks gorgeous. One question though: As you've used quite an aggressive combination, wouldnt it have made sense to make a second pass with a finishing polish like the M3.02 to get an even better finish and get rid of any haze?
stage is rather hard. Not much of a haze is left behind. The acrylic glaze would have been the next step either way.
@@apexdetail85 I understand. Thanks a lot!
Awesome video and tutorial good friend. Be well good friend
Thank you! Cheers!
Did you have to let the 404 cure for 24 hrs before the glossome. I’ve applied poly seal with out the cure with no issues ?
Nice job Brian! Did you see much pigment?
A bit of transfer to clean off the pad between each pass.
After eight years, I still have to do the test sections. Depending on which formula you use to do the correction, it can be very different.
Absolutely....Me too.
For my taste, it's really hard to beat a nice single stage when it's done right.
Single stage easy to restore
Leave it to you to make a brown car look so good.!
I wasn't aware Triumph even made them in left-hand drive!
Ah that brown - the colour of every British man's corduroy trousers back in the 70's.

Rarely see you use them these days.
In the past I would have expected you to stay with the F6 and switch up to the euro fiber pad on something like this!
The quality has fallen off a bit. layers separating...even with low heat.
@Apex Detail oh wow, that's not good at all! But good to know before I put in an order though. Thanks Brian.
Lake Country it is then for my next order I reckon!
I thought you was going bring out the good old 3d 501
Or 500
Badass lookn car.all that car needs is a 426 hemi and its a wrap..lol
😂👍

I see shop Mgr making sure u actually working.lol
huh? You did you 3 test spots with a cordless shinemate and then you pulled out a corded flex to start "the project"? Your so inconsistent...
