You do realize the wind blows in different directions. That looks bad. Flag pole should be straight not at a slight angle.

You are correct. I had a flagpole at my old house I placed level. House is located next to a field. The wind blew so hard it bent the pole to the North East. So I lean it toward the South West a bit. Rarely do we get much North wind.
