As a new player, pretty sure everyone hates transcendence and elixirs more than anything. Transcendence I got lucky with and kinda like but can't imagine doing it on 5 more characters.

They didn't ask me about the loading screen that shows how to set up the perfect Slayer! That awesome "tip" screen, with all the Shield Piercing and Enhanced Shield and other silly Engravings. Oh and no jewelry at all. I forget what else but I remember when that popped up a few patches ago and I thought "omg they changed it for the new pla.... nvm this is a troll".
agree 99.4% of what u said, they should really either remove the sold gold sucking systems like quality/ elixir ( this still have way to much rng) and transcence holy cow....
Don't need to remove it but make it all silver now... add more exilirs and dark fires across the board. Most raids should give them additionally. We need to make these systems easily achieveable now, it's Tier 3 content. We get our second fucking Tier 4 raid soon, another Tier 4 guardian. The karma system. Tier 3 needs to be a sweep through at this point. Also make it so that Tier explains most of the basic things about Lost Ark... like stats, classes, what is stagger, what is weak point, what is counter. Just pushing a new player to 1640 won't fix anything. More needs to be done. Oh and at this point... make LoS 30 easy. It's so mandatory but takes longer to grind than all the other systems. Who cares if new players just get it handed, I had it for 18 months now. Whatever.
You're not gatekept because of wipe mechs, you're gatekept because there's people more juiced than you applying. Also there isnt really a way to fix it because its ingrained in the games design.
@@manorid Bullshit, of course they can change it. And I'm not your average normal andy, I only run hard modes. They can make normal to a point most people can clear it, even your average andy. They progress slower than veterans so who cares? We do hard mode raids anyways. We get more gold, more materials, faster progression and have harder and challenging content.
@@Ineri-YT What you dont get is that normal mode difficulty is irrelevant, because even if its made trivial it then becomes about speed and consistency of clearing so that the better players save time. Its always like that, in every game, if you're behind in gear quality or skill level, there will always be someone applying thats better than you, so the only way you have a shot in getting into the group is if waiting for that someone takes more time than clearing with you.

biggest gripe for me is the cost of raising alts, even at T3 1540 to 1580 still costs about 1 million shards and significant amount of resources. I'm happy with ignite character currently at 1650 and leaf icon (not honing anymore since Aegir groups look despair to get into), but getting alts done with elixirs, trans and honing to 1620 is looking like 500k gold per character at the very least. i quit around akkan release with full 1580 roster and shard gate and upcoming honing/elixir/trans costs are rough, pretty much waiting on loa on winter to see how i want to invest my gold into progressing my roster - especially looking how much those alts are currently earning (10k per week) vs how much they require to raise up.
My plan to make LOA more enjoyable for all would be: 1) Fire vertical bozo. 2) Hire eng-kr translator 3) Put John in charge. There I fixed LOA, you're all welcome.🤣

As long as those are systems that are going to stay in the game we need to learn how to do it. Wheter those system should stay in the game that's another topic. We got enough event elixirs and trans tickets to get full trans and correct 40 set, but some weren't so lucky so in that case we could've gotten more of those. But probably not the best to give it fully geared from the gate. What was most dissapointing for me was not being able to do advanced honing on the Akkan gear before transfering to relic tier 4 gear. Well impossible if you don't already have a decent roster from beforehand. That has made the journey to 1660 very painful, and might make me quit the game in not too long.
i mean every few months its the same sh1t all over again Some people experience difficulty in the game and after a few months this difficulty disappears because the company understands that people run away from the game, so what do we do? nerfs, in my opinion, are not the solution to the huge problem in the game, which is a time gate game. If there was a spam option in the game for progress, a lot of people would complain less. It looks like time = progress, but it doesn't exist here, so the game is in a serious problem, and it's just one problem among many. The list is very long. I hope someone is there. He will understand this because there are almost no players left

Koreans love extremely grindy systems and throwing money at the devs for P2W. Different culture than the west. Lost Ark will always be a niche game because at the end of the day it's an eastern MMO that doesn't cater to a casual audience.

Realistically this game is done in the west unless either of the 2 things happen. 1) Make it really easy to get latest raid ready. Like in any other MMO. or 2) Lean hard into solo modes. Let them have good gold rewards. Make it so every raid except the last or even the last is soloable. That way people can decide if they want to play with friends or play solo.

Biggest this is having gatekeeping in normal mode raids remove all raid wipes so everyone can play at least normal mode and work their way to hard
