I call this street "5 bucks snacks street" First Welensky stop with a handmade Welensky Special, pickles and hand brewed cherry soda! 2nd stop Fairmount Bagel for sure. and 3rd stop at Drogheria Fine for a take out of gnocchi with fresh tomato sauce of the day, and I dip my bagel in the tomato sauce! Fairmount Bagels is the real deal it's DNA is straight from the now defunct Montreal Bagels on St-Laurent that was once located next door to Schwartz. Fairmount is still owned and operated by the original Shalman family while St-Viateur is now owned by two Italian brothers.
