DJI FPV - 4.25 km Low Level H2O

DJI FPV Long Range Flight Test.
FLIGHT RANGE/DISTANCE:
Target range = 4250 m.
Total distance flown from the same position = 8500 m
-----------------------------------------
BATTERY CONSUMPTION:
4250 m: 52% battery (48% remaining).
Returned to home point with ~8% - prob due to slight tailwind.
EQUIPMENT:
The Bird of choice - DJI FPV (OEM hardware; DH w.FW:01.02.0000).
DJI's OEM V2 antennae are brilliant and work just as well (better) for long-range, unimpeded LOS flights.
I used CapCut video editor for this video.

Amazing, the experts always say to stay 10 meters above the water incase it interferes with the flight system. Would love to see the goggles view side by side next flight so us geeks can see the inflight stats 🍻

Low water flight takes a bit of practice to adjust orientation. I’m certainly not an expert at it. Trust your visuals not the VPS software, as the water reflection messes with the infrared sensors.

I love my DJI FPV...I just hate how it pauses your flight when rth engages....so unnecessary
