I think the problem is that you are trying to pull the crate when you should be pushing instead 🤣 lmao just jump over to the other side of the box and push
i thought of that too at the beginning, but actually the issue is that there are some very small "extra" pushes that you need to do, in order to make sure the crate is touching the wall, if it is even a little not pushed all the way then the other crate will not move because it is being blocked, the same goes for the crates that you have to line up, you need to make sure there are no little gaps between the wall and crate before you push them or it will be stuck
Been like 20 years or something since I played this never understood why you can also push a box in the corner square , but thanks resident evil 0 has the most annoying puzzles and controls of the series

Like some people here i solved this shit puzzle but there was a glitch and the crates didnt fit even though i did exactlly the same thing, this shit programers and shit game have a thight hair distance to fit the creates, so you could be doing everything right and still not fit. the programers arent inteligent, this and the inventory they are just sadists that recycled resident evil 3 cenarios. but really man thanks a lot i was getting really frustrated and it got even worse when i realized iwasnt dumb just s astupid fit.
At first i thought since the blue box was heavy you would have to use it to cover the drain so the water would fill up but some asshole developer just thought it would be nice to put a box shaped space in the wall…

There’s a version of game where you can’t push silver crate straight forward like that so I had to do a different way.

This game flits wildly between puzzles that are so easy a toddler could do them to puzzles that the hardest in all Resi games. Awful game design.

It's some serious bullshit that you can soft lock the game if you position the boxes wrong.
Leave the room with either character and the position resets, similar to Zelda dungeons.
