Can anyone advise - I want the siren or any sound I assign to these door sensors to remain active until the door is closed. How do I do it ? At the moment I have assigned a sound which comes on when the door is open and then it stops. I want the sound to keep going as long as the sensor doesn't detect that the door is closed.
Hey Delyn, just a tip... You don't have to create separate automations for each individual door sensor in the Aqara app. Just add all of the door sensors in the same "IF" statement and choose "Any condition is met". "THEN" "play assigned ringtone". Thanks for sharing your tips. Not many UA-cam videos specifically for Aqara app based automations. Keep sharing!
Sorry about that, for the record the way I originally set it up, I wanted it to not play the sound of someone was in a specific area rendering the any condition is met feature useless.
Delyn….I like the way you go step by step in the app with the automations…great job…
Great video. Just what I was looking for on aqara products.
So.... how do you turn it on or of ? Can you add a smart button for that ?
Are you asking about the alarm system or the audible notification?
@delun
Is there a way that you can either say or and put a code on your phone to disarm
I don’t think there is a way to enter a code, only open the Aqara app or HomeKit
I am still waiting for the new LED light and M3 smart matter hub.

So you don't need the hub if you go through alexa?
You do need the hub still to get your devices on your WiFi

Yeah this is a very very basic feature that I'm disappointed was not used or known about
Thanks for the tip!
