G’Day and thanks for watching 😀 I don’t have a video on the detail. I just bought a canvas tarp, some long tie down straps, plastic clips and tent poles and rafters to make up the boat bow tent. It’s quite weather proof but not critter proof 🤣. I’ll see if I can schedule in a video on this at some point. I’m thinking of sewing up a fly for my current boat tent I use in my latest trips. That way I can use it on land too. Thanks again.

Hi 😀 I made this boat bow tent myself using a canvas tarp, load tie down straps, tent poles and RV awning supports. I used some clips off eBay to attach the canvas to the load straps. Cost about $600 Australian. Thanks for watching 😊
Very nice to watch and experience. Please tell me what the smaller light is for-- heat? bug-repellant? ambience? (the one extinguished at the end of the day...) Cheers from an avid follower in Japan.
Thank you 😊 The smaller light/flame is for a little heat, bug repellent, and ambience. The trickiest thing I’m still figuring out/testing is having a nice “campfire” on the boat. Tricky from a safety point of view. I’ve still got a few more ideas I’ll test on my next trips. Thanks for watching 😀.

It’s an Aussie made Kingfisher Eclipse. It allows access around the boat pretty easily compared to others and has a huge coverage area too. You can also deploy just one half if needed for more fishing rod swing space. This is my second boat with one. They’ve sponsored one of my videos, if you go to them let them know about riveRecon. Thanks.
I found the site and going to reach out to them! I fish out of a Carolina skiff, basically a 20’ barge and this would solve a lot of the Bimini issues with better coverage than the t-tops. Thanks!
Thanks for watching! I've come close a few times now to losing my dinner over the side. I think I'm going to have to think up some sort of table off the side 🤣 What do you do to keep your cooking gear in the boat?
Thanks for watching 😊 Yeh, the Bimini is great. This is my second one on two boats and they are very sturdy and very large shade area. You can only close half if you want more casting room and easy to pass rod around when fighting a fish. 🇦🇺🎥🤠👍, morning mist was pretty magical. Those Azure Kingfishers were pretty damned special too 😊👏👏👏‼️ The Angler 3.0 kayak (BCF) will happily tow behind a boat up to 30kmph if you want to get to the shallow spots that the boat won't go. I haven't tried towing my Hobie voyager but I believe the prow is too deep and it's skew sideways when towed. Crackin vid as usual, keep them coming🤠👏👏👏‼️
riveRecon - BCF have stopped doing my kayak (well, I have had it for 7 years!) it's the Dragonfly Sport Angler, also known as the Angler 3.0. Anything with a really shallow prow should tow well. But then again, you could host a game of '5 a side soccer' on your boat so if you were to carry the kayak on board it wouldn't be an issue👍
Dude you can’t leave the canvas cover on the motor. I worked for a dealership for yrs and you can keep the motor from getting enough air for the carbs or injectors and it can over heat too.

It's a way that you can continue to film in the way you already are, while putting more of yourself and personality into it after the fact rather than just close captions.
