Seeing as you two are basically never going to be able to reasonably get your construction level up to anything useful you should both level construction to the same level and have your house set up exactly the same

You should definitely be picking up the coins from the trolls and probably the bones too, it doesn't cost any time.

Rune kite 1/500 droprate confirmed
1/499 actually, learn to pay attention to the video
To put things into context, if the drop rate is actually 1/64, the chances of going 498 kills dry is roughly 1 in 2500. Rargh's luck is brutal.
For anyone who cares about the math, (63/64)^498 = ~0.0004

Even without the poison getting a dd will be stupidly strong. I dont see the rcb being good enough to overcome the power spike that comes from a really good spec weapon.

That makes sense. But link has other options to spruce things up, like a mage switch. Overall, I think that a skill reward wouldn't necessarily endanger links chance at a win (which he has plenty of) -- and it would promote a more spicy competition (and like the comment says, Rargh wouldn't have to spend half his time each week at mammoths, just because he didn't have a beginner quest done at the right time). There's also no guaranteeing that Rargh would use the skill xp on herb. It could go either way, I guess. Even if they don't switch to a skill xp reward -- do items or coins or something else (or up the xp amounts).

Not sure how long this is going to go for, but the God Wars Dungeon drops magic shortbows and you can easily get the needed god items for non-aggressive (Holy symbol + Zam monk robes + ancient mace + d book of law). I actually think grinding trolls for that many kills wasn't as bad as Rargh made it seem. It was essentially a "just grind range for 4 hours" episode that clearly really benefited him in the fight and will continue to better him for the series. Every kill is more range XP. Can't complain.
I know this is late, but during last twisted league I wanted a ring mould. The only way to get it, was by killing barbarians near some camp. I believe the drop rate was 1/128. It took me somewhere over 1,200 kills to get it. I thought the wiki was lying, so I had my friend kill them to see if he could get it.. he got 2 within 20 kills... At that point I was already around 800 kills. Worst day of my life lmao

The granite shield is only better for range defense, rune kite is better for melee defense
Add some content for long bones, at the end of each episode you can exchange a long bone for like 5k or some amount of xp in a non combat skill and maybe like 15k for a curved bone

@@Daltonownzyoulol True, but mage grind is EXPENSIVE and slow, and the rcb upgrade is WAY more important than the granite upgrade. I agree, mage seems like a good skill to dump 50k.
Granite shield is no upgrade.
It has worse melee defence and lowers range attack more than the rune kite.
It only has higher range defence, which Rargh doesn't need. Link does.
