just wanna say this ... the lich mastery text is wrong lol ... thats the primalist beastmaster one (its been bugged) ... the lich mastery is 1% of damage leech as health melee and spell attacks deal increased damage = to your missing health %
so incredibly charming to see someone reflect fondly on being able to build a character according to their own vision. thank you for all the time you put into this 🥰
Absolutely mental how good your editing is, how brilliant your overall information is and comical well timed wit. Honestly so impressed, incredibly entertaining and you without a doubt deserve far more subscribers! Keep at it, you're fantastic to watch
@@AllTradesJackReviews I want to reiterate what @MrNoobrawr said. I liked and subscribed just for the quality and humor of the video. I really really REALLY appreciate videos like these and you’ve done such a good job. It’s well paced and the intro… omg the intro was good. I lied earlier, I liked and subbed just for the intro. Just a nice synopsis of each section and what to expect in a long video. I might be rambling and stuff but thank you for the effort put into this video.
Great job. Big LE creators are to busy running empowered monoliths and none of them bothered to make a video explaining every skill from every mastery. But you did it and made it pretty entertaining.
Thank you! I am the same as you in most games...I know a lot of veterans will watch top tier build guides and strategies, but I like just looking for an explanation of general mechanics to know what's in the game that I can try!
This is the best video of class review i ever saw in my entire life. Kudos to you. I had so much fun watching this video and learn all important stuff as well. Cant wait for full release of this game.
This is great, planning on picking up the game next week as a little birthday gift to myself and this helps me get a better idea of what classes to try out first, Lich here I come
Hey there Jack, Just wanted to say how much I appreciate your casual style, humor and thoughtful content. I am playing LE now and love it too! This gives me all sorts of excitement about trying other classes!
I’m glad to hear it! Let me know if you have any questions and if you have a favorite build/mastery so far! I’m trying to find one that I want to play for a Hardcore character…
I've never seen your videos and haven't played Last Epoch but watching this amazing video made me download the game. I love your editing style and humor. Great video!!
I love how the Runemaster is very relatable to Warden from lotro. Always thought that was one of the coolest class concepts in any game, I'll definitely be checking one out.
Really well done video. I myself got into Last Epoch later than I would have liked, but loving everything so far. And this video did help understand the character classes a bit more.
One of the best videos as a intro to a game I've ever seen. Been on the fence about getting this game, but this video is surely tipping me over to buy it.
Absolutely awesome guide. The one problem i have with last epoch is i wanna pmay everything lmao. Ended up starting primalist but choosing which subclass is almost impossible, fheure all amazing.
Thanks for making this video, it's fantastic. And I want to say, what you said about being able to understand the game without guides is exactly what draws me to it!
Best class guide I've found, gives you a good idea of the vibe of each class and mastery. Gonna go with Void Knight first playthrough then probably Lich and Bladedancer in next playthroughs.
I made a Sentinel Forge Guard 2H Mace Fighter. Focusing on Warpath and alot of mana regen for long time use. And Forge Strike for big hits. I also invested 5 points in Paladin for healing hands. Healing hands can be made passive, procking automatic on melee hits. Makes survival very good, even without a sheild. Its level 57 so far.
For better or usually worse I tend to just do my own thing. Because that is what I like. In this case It is a Spellblade :3 I do however appreciate the effort that went into this video and the incite into other options and new perspectives on what this game has to offer. Thank you for taking the time to share this with us all. I wish you all the best.
i got Blademaster to level 60+ and realized I REALLY want to play a Beastmaster and have a pet army, but I'm not even mad about having to do it all over again. i'm just excited.
This entire video is such a masterpiece! Well put together, fun to watch, informative as hell. Honestly 10/10 ♥ PS: the Naruto and Ozzy songs cracked me up 🤣🤣
first video ive watched of last epoch. You have earned a sub from me, your editing and info is awesome. and am now training my elbows to be prepared to be firmly planted at my desk when it launches in Feb. great job.
To anyone choosing Void Knight, use Voice Cleave! Put points into Void Cleave that makes channeling Warpath UP the damage of Void Cleave. This way I'm spinning into combat, and literally erasing everything on-screen. I'm level 64, and I'm dealing out 96K crit damage with Void cleave. When you add your Echos on top of this, you have the class that deals so much damage, you will overwhelm enemies almost more than the necromancer. I literally had 5-6 echos spinning around at a boss and his health-bar just erased itself.
Bro thank you for making this ULTIMATE GUIDE video, totally amazing your effort is seen and it is amazing! Real grind, keep it up Jack! Much love brotha!
So I've been playing Forge Guard and the way I built was lunge, multistrike, forge strike, smelters wrath, and ring of shields. I will be switching RoS for rebuke because of the spreading flames node, and using smelters wrath to double nova and create a burning arena. Multistrike has a node that consumes armament stacks to auto cast forge strike
I'm playing my own Void Knight and I've barely used any guides outside of getting a feel for which class I would enjoy. The skill trees are intimidating at first, but when you dive into it's fairly intuitive and you can easily see where certain things in one skill synergize with another. For example, I use Void Cleave, Erasing Strike, Abyssal Echoes and Anomaly. I got rid of Abyssal Decat and added in instant damage and Time Rot and added/changed everything to have fire damage on top of Void. My Void Cleave causes my Abyssal Echoes to cast when I use it and explode multiple times. It makes Erasing Strike an auto crit. If I need to wait on a cooldown for some reason, I use Rive. Oh and I create bunch of Void Essences to buff me further. It's just really cool how well the skills go together.
Sentinel is my favourite class because I've never a ridiculous build i call the Hammermancer. Throw Hammer is obviously the filler skill to get zeal with Forge Strike being a big burst of damage and buffs. I've tried so many classes and build ideas but a simple idea of throwing hammers is what made me stick xD
I'm still on the fence whether to get this game or not, or wait it out until servers stabilize. This video is very helpful to get me excited. Also, I love your voice
I can't wait for Warlock, but for now I'm really loving my Thor build. Primalist with tempest strike as my main melee attack, storm crows as my pet (very Odin like), storm totem for added lightning, and of course fury leap with a focus on lightning damage for all skills. It really is a blast.
Just bought the game and have not fired it up yet. Coming from D3 and 4 i heard alot about last epoch and finally decided to check it out. Great video here for me so i can up front find some nice info on the classes and skills to see what i want to play. Really thorough and informative video!
Ive been hearing more and more about Last Epoch in the last month or so, but this is the first video ive found that covers each class in decent detail. Game looks great and the classes seem super interesting. if i end up playing this its absolutely Lich time though. Thanks for the awesome vid!
I love this. I tried the game for a bit and I'm glad I bought it. I tried the rogue for a bit, idk if they changed that but I didn't see anything about a skill called something like "Shakram" iirc. It felt nice playing it. But what I loved the most were sorcerer (didn't test runemaster yet) and void knight (which felt a bit weak at empowered maps), then I went to Swarmblade primalist which is soooo nice and very tanky (while it lacks some clearspeed) but I think it's the best starter for me if I want to do endgame bossing while staying alive. My void knight hits hard but can't sustain a long fight. I tried to fix my items to be tankier and couldn't kill the boss that will allow me to get the 2H axe to continue in end game. But after watching your video I felt like updating the game and getting back to it.
Just want to point out something u said in the beginning, the game is so easy to learn while playing -in a good way- love how they made it like this while its still not shallow or simple game
Fun video :) I may not play every mastery like you have, but there's still plenty here to try out! I think the Primalist appeals to me the most: Werebear was my main/favorite Diablo IV build, and I saw what basically looked like Scyther as another form, so the Druid mastery will probably be my first go. I usually shoot for finishing the game with each base class, and I'll try that again here with Last Epoch, but I don't feel drawn to the Acolyte that much at all.
Stumbled on you looking for LE build ideas, and I'm sold before the first minute. Every class to 50+ is dedication, much appreciated. Given that this video is a few months old, are there any major changes or further insights you wish you could put into the video?
Well first, I would say that the warlock and falconer masteries have been revealed, and even though we can’t play them until 1.0 , they look great. Second, I would caveat the entire video with the single point of: when you choose a specific mastery, you can actually put points in a non-chosen mastery up until a certain point. So even though masteries definitely push you in a direction, they are not defining and they don’t lock you in to a playstyle in particular.
@@AllTradesJackReviews ooo that second point is good to know, I never would've thought to try that. So if I go Spellblade (my current plan, still only level 18), I can still put a few points into Sorcerer if I wanted?
@@harjutapa yup! And you can even unlock the 2 sorcerer spells if you put the required points into that tree. The two on the left side of the chain of course, and not the mastery spell meteor.
I highly recommend that ARPG veterans try the death seal Lich variant. I call it the suicide Lich because the power fantasy is a highly mobile glass cannon with no cast times, basically trading off health and regen for crazy damage multipliers to empower your abilities. The more you build up your damage multipliers the more fragile you become. It's one of my favorite gameplay styles in any ARPG, up there with Lost Ark's Gunslinger
I don't know how late-game viable it is, but as a Primalist/Shaman I've been having a lot of fun with Malestrom/War Cry/Tornado. Screw melee attacks, if I'm going to go caster, I'm going full send on the pew-pew. With storm crows and a lightning totem for backup, you can spec Malestrom to dish out lightning after so many stacks are built up, Tornado can be built to also call down the lightning, and War Cry can be used to proc a whole pile of Malestrom stacks instantly in addition to its other many benefits. Be the Shaman. Be the storm that is approaching.
thank you so much for this video! I wanted to be hyped for the release for a long time, but couldn't really build up excitement for any particular class, now I can't wait to play runemaster. the video is really well done, informative and entertaining at the same time. keep up the good work :)
For rogue I think they should add parry on top of dodge. Make it that you always parry all attacks, but the amount of dodge you have decreases the damage those attacks do.
Really enjoying your video, gonna go primalist for my first toon, but was gonna go shaman, you talked me into beast master. Thank you for the information and entertainment.
Fun and informative video! Thank you! I just today started again after not having played for 3 years, of course as an erasing strike strike void knight at that point. :D
So I've been looking to get into this game, after being tired of the disappointment that is D4. And this exactly the kind of video I was looking for. So thank you for the great content.
15:00 reminds me of Invoker from Dota2.... only this is far more combinations. The Dota2 character only has 10 because the order of the 3 elements doesn't mater. I get the feeling though that here it doesn't matter as much which spell you get because they're generally going to do a lot of damage, what changes is the type of damage. That said, it looks like a ton of fun. Thank you for this. I had bought D4 when it came out, kinda regret it now seeing this game. Also you're editing is very well done!
Excellent video! Liked the presentation style and it got me very excited to try this game out, instead of having only grim dawn as a recentish arpg to tickle the dopamine receptors. Definitely seeing a lot in moba inspiration (Invoker, Zed, skills UI) in the masteries.
Great intro to the builds! I appreciate the chill delivery of info (as opposed to other UA-camrs overhyped yelling style). Looking forward to official release. P.s. I keep reading your channel name as All Jack No Trades, which i think would be a great name...
Just bought this, I was loving Grim Dawn and it made me want to explore more. I think this is technically outdated but still nice to get a look. Excited to explore it alongside gd.
Good stuff, just starting to get into LE and this helps a lot to preview stuff i havent gotten to playing myself yet. On the note of Forge Guard i blindly went into a 2h setup for it using Rive and the big Hammer drop skill (forget the name of it) which so far has been kinda just powering through most things without issue, then having 11 Forge Weapons, the Forge Armor all hitting for as much as my normal melees (300-500) both applying Sunder and Fragility causes a significant ramp in damage, while being pretty tanky, i assume itll start struggling into the late late end game but so far by 66 its still just ripping through em
20:37 - 8 months later - I build the most boring and invincible build - with flame ward and the freeze snap and the surge - beating Lagon trials was easy as fck and did it on my first try - I practically had two skills to make me invincible (feeze snap and surge) and paired with the flame ward - I was tanky as fck - but boy do I take FOREVER to kill something - at least I had the Glacier to do some serious dmg. What surprised me the most was how op the Falconer class was - I wasn't tanky as the Spellblader but boy do I have damage - not only I completed the Lagon (and Majasa) trial on the first attempt, I beat Lagon in almost no time - the dmg was insane, I fought him for like 2-3 mins max (don't remember exactly) but when it ended I was like - wait, what? It ended already? And with the shift I had some surviveability whilst having some sh!t tone of damage. I still can get over how op the Dive Bomb (that can have really low cd while having massive damage) is and the Falcon skill (that can reset on use and just spam it) Too bad you couldn't try either the Falconer or the Warlok - one of my most favorite characters.
just wanna say this ... the lich mastery text is wrong lol ... thats the primalist beastmaster one (its been bugged) ... the lich mastery is

Excellent video! Liked the presentation style and it got me very excited to try this game out, instead of having only grim dawn as a recentish arpg to tickle the dopamine receptors. Definitely seeing a lot in moba inspiration (Invoker, Zed, skills UI) in the masteries.
personally as the first mastery I choosen forge guard, and right now im creating forged weapons build :)
this is a great video. the base primalist class seems a bit lackluster but the druid looks awesome
i didn't realize 44 minutes passed. fun and engauging video. I think i'm going to try a Lethal Mirage build. sounds fun
this game makes you feel powerful through out the whole or deal early game progression feels amazing
Agreed! and with the new ACT 1, there's actually challenging gameplay that makes you feel powerful AND accomplished.
Bro, you HAD to hit me with that Grizzly Hills music. dam. classic
Great intro to the builds! I appreciate the chill delivery of info (as opposed to other UA-camrs overhyped yelling style). Looking forward to official release.
P.s. I keep reading your channel name as All Jack No Trades, which i think would be a great name...
Dude! You made a great video that deserves a like.. but dammit you made it even harder for me to choose a starting class! 😂
Well done. I can see this channel growing big time
Just bought this, I was loving Grim Dawn and it made me want to explore more. I think this is technically outdated but still nice to get a look. Excited to explore it alongside gd.
Epic guide, you're a legend man.
thanks for this! torn between paladin and runemaster, ill probably play both.
Man that Albion Online music gave me some crazy nostalgia
I still can get over how op the Dive Bomb (that can have really low cd while having massive damage) is and the Falcon skill (that can reset on use and just spam it)
Too bad you couldn't try either the Falconer or the Warlok - one of my most favorite characters.
Underrated guide. Awesome job. Props!
This was awesome. Thanks!! I can't wait to try different wiz and acolyte builds
Bro Lich looks amazing I’m sold just on that
