I had a second watch of this. I think I understand it better now and it's definitely something I'm going try. We've got a small support gig coming up soon (1 set, 11 songs) That should be a good way to try out the concept before plugging in our whole list of songs and multiple set lists for our full shows.
Hmmm. I have to wait to get my TMP, but I am better informed now as to how to set it up. I am not jaded by previous modern modeler experience and the standard way things should be, and so I think the TMP terminology makes sense in the function and application of making music.
Doc, I have the TMP, and I am coming from the Helix Floor. With the Helix, I have created a preset for each song in my setlist. Each song may have 1-4 snapshots to use throughout that one song. During a show, I simply have the songs in order, and it is very easy to go from to the next. If I understand correctly, I could create one TMP preset for each song and use On/Off and/or Parameter Change to create a song with different "snapshots." Alternatively I could create a song in the TMP that has several presets which could, essentially, be variations of one core preset. If I do the latter, I would be creating a lot of presets! I have tried doing the former, but I keep getting hung up with the blue triangle icon below a block. Is it referring to on or off or parameter change? It is confusing me. In addition, to create a setlist with the former plan, I would have to save a preset as a song, correct? Words of wisdom, please. Thank you.
Presets go into songs then those songs go into a setlist. the new update adds a new switching option so you can toggle on/off different combinations of pedals and change parameters all at the same time. I have not had time to make a video about this yet though I am still wrapping my head around it all.
Hey mate Wondering if you’ve ever had this issue I am making presets on the TMP and notice if there is a patch that involves the Maximus drive ,whenever I switch between presets I get loud digital pops and bangs If I switch multiple times with that pop transition ,after 4-5 times the unit freezes on the patch with Maximus drive The patch is usable and the unit shows the title change but the ui and the tone stays stuck on the Maximus included preset Have to turn it off and reset for it to come back to normal It happens every time and more so with custom made presets involving one or more of that pedal Have you ever experienced this or could you try it for me to see if it’s a universal software glitch or if I have a dodgy unit As far as I’m aware there is NO customer service for this ?? Thank you 🙏🏻
@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios I want to remote control song changes in the setlist as already do this with an older guitar setup, I presumed it would but it says nothing in the manual, just midi control of patch changes.
what are you wanting to use to make these changes? I must have read your question wrong the first time :). I just checked the manual and though it doesn't mention song changes you can change the preset within a song. The only problem is see is if you used the same preset in multiple songs then how would the TMP know which song you want to access that preset in.

In another post around a month ago you said you might sell of the TMP and keep the HeadRush. Did you change your mind ?

Like take a song totally out of the setlist? That should be possible.
