Yes, but if you consider everything you are getting. It is a good deal. Think about buying what it can do individually. Even if you found cheaper clones of the effects and amps, this would still run cheaper. Just my 2 cents. I am perler happy with my Boss ir200 and Blackstar CV10 and pedalboard.

@@KoaCharvel the problem is that it doesn't live in a vacuum. Modelers have always provided better value than all the pieces of gear that are modelled in it, but this product offers worse value than most if not all of its competitors.

@christianmichaud7897 I mostly agree with you. I do believe you are paying a premium just because it says Fender on it. But features and ease of use, it sits within its other competition.

One of the better demos I have heard with this thing. I'm wondering if others maybe didn't crank the volume enough because in a lot of demos it sounds lifeless and missing a ton of top end. It also seems to be missing a ton of front end gain. Your demo didn't seem too affected by those issues. Maybe the "magic" they did in the volume modeling causes too much darkening at lower volume knob settings.
I had written this thing off. Why'd you have to go and make it sound good hahaha.

@@Dustinchugs Kemper does not have an algorythm capable of capturing it. Rick Beato did a video explaining the limitations of the Kemper with Mesa amps and cabs. Tonewars also did a video explaining that the new Nueral Software does an amazing job of capturing the Tremoverb and Ola's cab setup. It all comes down to mic placement and the pre gain distortion feeding into a saturated but not clipping power amp section.

Hey, I hate to sound like a complete moron. I’ve had my tone master now for a little over a month. I do really like it, however, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to update it on a PC I don’t so I have to download five things lol I would like to update it. Help

All of these electronic simulators sound somewhat characterless. There's something in the mids which doesn't sound right. They're all nice, but... characterless. I believe the pedal amps are the future, for those which can't afford a real amp.

      Quad Cortex for the win?

It’s better sounding than it was when Ola tried it the first time, but it’s still very sterile compared to the big players. The harmonics are not as bright and punchy. If you put this Fender head to head on similar settings with a QuadCortex or Tonex, it’s just not at that level. I still wouldn’t pay more than $400 for this Fender even with the updates (if I had the money lol). It’s sad. I don’t know who they hired to make these tones, but there are tons of kids fresh outta school who could make this sound world class. There’s like no excuse for subpar modeled/simulated tones in this day and age.

@@MashaT22Have you formed this opinion by actually playing the unit for just spouting fanboyisms you read from other people who haven't played it on the Internet?

Pretty easy to form an opinion on how it sounds, being that there are plenty of videos with this and other units. Doesn't take owning one to have a like or dislike for it.....
