This is tutorial video explaining the racing line and speed secrets behind getting a quick lap at the Brentwood Karting Track. - Спорт
As one of the regular league racers, I'd say this is a pretty good breakdown. The new karts aren't wildly different so this guide is still decent. You defo gained a lot of time at the sharp right as the barrier looks like it's very far away from the painted kerb, and you can also break a lot later (this can change drastically based on the conditions however). Awesome stuff!
Thank you for your feedback! I'd love to try out the new karts when I'm England next time. Which karts have they got now?
@@kartingtips It used to be a fleet of SODI SR5s (which they do still have in reserve) but it's now SODI RT10s I believe. They are almost identical however, the newer ones just feel smoother and worse acceleration as there's more weight. Felt very float-y when driving for the first time in them.
@@ukiesports8054 They’re still SR5’s, just considerably worse. I mean they’re evolving, just backwards
Interesting... not sure why they've been changed then as the only things different seem to be slight handling changes and worse aero...@@Reuben_Mamelok
When did they get new karts? We were there in July.
It's always nice to see a new video
You should do the b track when they have it, its much more fun in the dry but turn 1 in the wet can be a pain
Came to this track my lap time was 36.56
I also do the development club my dad is the group operations manger😂
I suspected that there is only one braking point on this track, and I was getting close to doing that when we were there. Next time I'll be on it!
Yep, after session 2 the marshal told me the only braking point is for the right hander! The rest of the lap is pretty much flat but you've really got to lean your body to get grip through the corners!
@@kartingtips it's at times like these that 110kg comes in handy 😀
From ya man
Wrong start/finish XD, and I’ve said my little nit picks in the short, but again that was still a corker of a lap
Also, they got brand new karts (basically the same), they-they aren’t brilliant
Oh no 😆 I didn’t realize where the start finish was!
I appreciate your tips in the short 🙌 I loved driving on this track. Can’t wait to come back again!
@@kartingtipsI still remember when that was the start finish, it was 5 years ago and I was like 8 or 9, oh God I feel old now 😂
