I've had this tripod for 6 months, I take it with me when I go on hikes because it's so light. I use it for my landscape photography with my Nikon D850 and with the Nikon D500 & Sigma 60-600mm lens, which is a total of about 9lbs. and I have never had any problems with it. Mine isn't that hard to get the legs down on and nothing is broken yet. You could have just gotten a bad one. This is the only bad review I've seen on this tripod, there could be some bad ones but I haven't seen one until now. I hope everyone that watches this watches other reviews of it and knows how good it really is because it sure does work me.
Anything manufactured has a 4% acceptable failure rate, highlighting it does not mean the product is bad. Michael Dell once said "We have 25,000 computers leaving a plant every day, but we only ever hear about the one bad one".
1:16 They probably use Loctite. If used correctly, you can glue an elephant to the ceiling with that stuff. Although I think this is just a one time faulty unit, I can understand the agony if that thread comes off while you're shooting on a wediing with thousands worth of gear...
I was looking for a tripod that is light and thin and got to your youtube comment. Thanks for the review. If you can make a suggestion for an affordable tripod that is light and thin for travelling but can reach the height of 1.5m, what would it be?
Thanks for the honest review ! Have you ever used the Rollei Compact Traveller Carbon ? Looks to me to be identical to the Srui 5c and I cant decide which one to buy
@@Romafedorov Alright, thabks for the reply 👌 I ordered it yesterday and will probably get it today. Im really interested to see how sturdy it actually is. Oh and more thing: Maybe its the case, that Rollei is onl shipping this product in germany (I only found german reviews online, Im from Germany) So this would explain why you probably never even saw an offer for one 🤔
If you have problems with sticking, wipe all the tubes with talcum powder and wipe off, it will stop it sticking immediately.
Came here tempted to get K&F tripod left with feeling confident about getting Sirui, thank you!
The SIRUI is great, expect for the ball head. The ball head on the K&F concept tripod is far better.
@@Romafedorov yes I brought a different inexpensive ball head based on watching other vids too!
@@Romafedorov Thanks for your video. i think sirui traveler 5cx ball head is better than 5c's head.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I’ve met another person who had the same issue as I did with this tripod.
Your tripod is lighter and less expensive too. Glad you uploaded this video, thanks.
You look like OJ Simpson that time they told him to try on the gloves. You're going out of your way to make it look difficult
Hi Roma, your video is incredibly 👍
Thanks for your honest review!
Hi Roma Great video
wonder how you get all these products to review
Thanks. They contact me via e-mail.
@@Romafedorov oh ok thanks for the info😊

I bought this a couple of days ago and it's been shipped already. Wish I'd seen your video first 🤕
Hopefully you'll receive a non faulty unit like I did. Keep me updated!
@@Romafedorov fingers crossed I'll let you know 🤞
@@ersway how’s ur tripod right now?any issues?
@@rubenamadeo2938 It's too wobbly which is a shame can't use it outside unless there is zero wind. Pity as it's a nice build. Next...

This one vs the Sirui vs the rollei c6i? Tough call for me...
