@@Andybaby No, serious. I've put the Dolica through the worst and its never failed me. The Manfrotto in the same conditions had every possible area seize up making it useless in about 8 months. Its been an expensive paper weight for 10 years.
I have the Peak Design tripod (carbon) which I got during the kickstarter for around C$600. Honestly, it's not perfect, but I love using it in comparison to travel tripods like the K&F one here. The main reason is it deploys more easily and quickly in comparison to conventional tripods which require the legs to be inverted in the stowed configuration. Full marks to PD for thinking outside of the box.
The Benro Aero S2 is the travel tripod to get. It has a fluid video head with a handle for smooth pans, rubber feet and spikes, turns into a mono pod, has a leveling head, its not flimsy, and has a hook in the center if you want to hang some weight on the bottom of the center column, and it has latches instead of twist locks. They make an S4 and S6 if you want a bigger one, but the S2 is the travel tripod. About $180 US $15,000 Canadian.
Been looking for a nice tripod, one of my issues are always the heads. I prefer a ball head with a locking plate, instead of the flash/light tripod style plates where you slide it in and tighten a screw. Do you know if these Aero tripods from Benro have anything like that? I noticed the aero 2 is also more of a video tripod with an extension arm.
As it has no rubber feets it is useless on the floor. As it has no intercnangable spikes feets - it is useless on the grass. This useless tripos destroys other useless. Nice video, very interesting. *Best useless tripod!* feets are like tires for your car.

Casey - You should be able to unthread the weight hook from the center column. Then loosen the center column friction. You can then pull the center column through and add it to the monopod leg. Then you'll find it to be a more useable monopod.
I have K&F tripod and back pack camera bag. I have found both to be of high quality and great value . Sure , there are higher quality options out there , but these are more than good enough and I would need to pay three times as much for a significantly better product.

You're supposed to remove the middle pole to attach to the foam grip leg when using the monopod feature. This is usually the case for most tripods that have this function.
I have the aluminium version of this and it’s not too bad if you don’t use the bottom section extended. I have heavier tripods that don’t get used so much if I am carrying it more than about a mile.
@@juanselobo I still use it pretty regularly, often without a head, there are cheap manfrotto style plates and clamps that I will screw directly to the legs. Quite often there is little need for any tilt and you can use the centre column if you need to pan. I also use gimbals which can place a camera anywhere. Being well balanced is always best. Carbon fibre is very light and strong, having large diameter legs gives good stability.
I was going to say I had the same tripod but mine is a 3 Legged Thing Punks Brian. K&F strait gaffeled there design. I like the design though especially the twist to extended the legs much faster once you get used to it.
