Thank you so much for doing this on Sundays. It’s really special to me, something that I’ve loved since I was 7 or 8, sitting in front of the tv enthralled and now I’m 40 watching your videos the same way. ❤
This song is on an album that GVB and Signature sound did together and few years back called "Together", it's a GREAT album. Of course, Bill Gaither also has the DVD, which is what I have. Also, my favorite Russ Taff album is "The Way Home". If you haven't listen to it, I HIGHLY recommend it!!
The song was written by Mosie Lister in 1955 and was originally released by The Statesman Quartet in 1955, then by The Blackwood Bros. In 195. Elvis didn’t release it until 1967. Admittedly, Elvis’ version is the only one I ever heard before hearing GVB sing.
Two of my brothers and I had to sing this at my great uncles funeral. It was one of the songs he always sung. We were all sobbing. 😢 It was a mess but we got it done.
G'day mate. You remember the lerrer I sent you and now I'm going to put you on my prayer list every night. We are healed by His stripes God bless your family thank you Lyle.
Signature sound is great. You should check out their song Happy Rythm. I love their bass singer. Ernie Hasse was a long time member of the Cathedral quartet and married the Daughter of George Younce, the Legendary bass singer. My favorite Cathdrals song will always be Champion of Love.
The gaither vocal band is the best you know who also is the best? Shane & Shane! I actually went to go see them yesterday. I strongly recommend you react to them. They actually have a song called you've already won, and an album that they just released as well.
What a grump! You were looking at the same group of fellas I was watching, right? They were laughing and having a good time, and when Russ came out of the audience, got on the stage and started dancing and singing IT WAS FUNNY! You must be one of the folks that believe Christians shouldn’t have any fun, but we do! If being a Christian doesn’t make you wanna laugh with joy sometimes you’d better do some soul searching.❤
The best GVB lineup: Guy, Mark, David and Bill. My absolute favorite.
Fabulous! The Anthony Burger on the piano was such a phenomenally talented too; he left us too soon to glory of heaven.

Woo Hoo totally fire. Thanks Lyle for this video. I seem to smile all the way through these songs to infinity and beyond
This is just fabulous !!! Love it!!! Thanks Lyle♥️
I hope you loved it as much as me 😊♥️
Thanks for another great reaction Lyle! I enjoy them all! Thanks for all you do. Feel better soon!
The Gaithers used to do the best concerts. Lasted 3+ hours and get to see all these great singers
That was special! I love when everyone joins in! I love both bands and Russ does get all excited!
I agree. It's that 'Pentacostal blood' in him. 😄😁😁😏
Listen to Ernie and group sing Oh What a Saviour.
Kudos to the guy who did the high note “wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo”! Lol!!! Loved this!!!❤️
My favorite GVB lineup... David, Marshall, Guy, and Bill (Russ is a great added bonus)!
Love,love,love...Bill Gaither and the Homecoming friends
GVB does this song on "Pure and Simple", but with Michael and Wes. Of course, both groups do a wonderful job. Marvelous song!! Thanks Lyle!!
I love the song Oh what a time. So many good songs these groups have done
Sooooo good Shalom and blessings!
Just think. Lyle, the singing will be even better in Heaven!!! Amazing?? Yes indeedy!!! Love you, dear fella!!!❤i😊
Check Heaven's Joy awaits with Erine Haase and Signature Sound and Gaither Vocal Band comedy.

Love this. Alot of people don't know Elvis recorded where no one stands alone too
I’m bias! I absolutely love Elvis’s version!!”
Tracey, David is the ONLY artist who “I allow” to sing an Elvis song👍🏼😊

I do! I heard Elvis sing it long before knowing GVB does it too.
Awesome video
Fantastic! I thought I was at the concert!! YES!!!!!
If that doesn't get you on your feet!! So fun to see Russ run up there and join in. :)
Great to see Russ Taft brought up on stage! 💖
Thank you Lyle. What a blessing you are!

Ernie and SS were amazing live!
Check out "Overcome" from signature sound. Love the message of the video
If you get a chance, listen/watch more of Ernie Haase (pronounced "hawse") and the Signature Sound. They are phenomenal also.
I agree with the comment to check out more Signature Sound! They are wonderful also!!
Have seen this several times on UA-cam and love watching them all having a good time singing. Thank you so much Lyle😊
I would have to add rus taff, he is one of my definitely one of my favorites!😍
❤️👏👏👏
I miss this SS lineup! Marshall Hall is great!
Yes, Marshall is my favorite.
Love you, bro. 🙏
That's Ernie Haase 😉
I love to see Russ taff in action!

Sorry I meant letter
This was a Russ song
Brothers Of The Heart version is far superior to this in my opinion. By the way on your title that should read Ernie not Erine!
What are laughing about? Maybe you should listen to the message
Sorry, didn't know we weren't allowed to have any fun.
