Michael is a perfect example of God's grace, mercy and God's desire to restore us to wholeness.
Michael English's raw rendition of this song was so "da bomb"! He took that Crabb song next level and Jason already had blown it outta the water! Can't get enough of this song, it speaks to us all💯❤️🔥✝️🇯🇲
This particular grouping of the Gaither Vocal Band could harmonize like nobody's business. The blend of their voices was wonderful.
This is one of my fav groupings as well, although my favorite is Guy, Marshal, Wes, David ,and Bill. Though the current grouping is quickly becoming a fav as well. Love Adam.
Agree 100%. Although I do love Guys voice too.
Stunning performance thank you Lord
You just heard the raw pain of a raw addict, publically begging for mercy out loud & in front of a packed audience. His pain-fully exposed openly begging for the Lord's mercy while surrounded by those he can trust & be supported by!!!
Lyle when Michael had his fall from grace, as many call it, most of southern gospel turned against him. Treated him like a pariah. Christian book stores even burned all traces of him. He couldn’t get on any shows or programs period. BUT one night in Owensboro, Kentucky the Crabb Family were performing at the Executive Inn. Michael was in the audience. Gerald Crabb saw him and unexpectedly invited Him upon the stage to sing! Gerald took a big chance of his family being shunned also. But that didn’t happen and many began to see “but for God’s grace go I.” Many Christian singers have also had their own share of problems but they weren’t advertised like Michael’s. Maybe because he’d just won many dove awards etc. The Crabb family extended love and grace when and where it was sorely needed. Thanks for your excellent reaction. When David, Wes, Mark, step forward in harmony it takes one’s breath away.
Could I ask you to look/listen to Michael sing Bowed on my Knees please please please. You will not regret it! ♥️
I was working at one of those Christian book stores at the time. The reaction from the Christian community sent me running in the other direction, but like Michael, I'm a prodigal slooooowly heading back.
I do not know who I love the most, Michael English or Guy Penrod singing Gospel songs. Both of them have wonderful harmony with Bill and Mark.
I love Jason's reaction when the guys stepped up with Michael to sing their part. It was awesome to watch Jason get touched like that by their harmonies. When I first heard this song I had no words I was so wowed by it that I had to play it over again and again.
Stunning performance! I've been following Michael English's music since the early 90s he's truly a gifted singer & humble man with a powerful testimony of God's forgiveness & restoration 🙏🏻 Check out Michael's music in the 80s , 90s and early 2000s ...he was unmatched with his incredible vocal abilities . He can sing in any genre of music , one of the all time greats . Blessings from South Africa 🇿🇦
This grouping is my all time favorite of the GVB, each voice special and blends perfectly with the other voices, the best part of the whole song is when Michael signals the others and then they each come in on their note....OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!
Mine too! Absolutely amazing testimonies for all of them which gives spiritual depth to their vocals!
I'm so glad you played that song and reacted to it! It's so beautiful and heartfelt. I cry every time I hear it because it makes me realize how unworthy I am and how gracious God is.
So glad that you are reacting to Michael English, Lyle.
Ive seen Jason Crabb and his Brothers and Sisters sing that song since they were young teenagers. Always moves my heart and soul. Michael did a wonderful job. Always loved Michael English. You should check out some of Jason's music both solo and with the Crabb Family. Through the Fire is another powerful song. Gerald Crabb is an annoited writer.
Anyone interested can find Michael English testimony here on UA-cam. I believe its in 4 parts. It's absolutely worth watching. You will then understand why this song is sung with so much emotion. I cry every time I hear him sing this song.
God Bless!
@Live This Life I never get tired of hearing Michael’s Testimony
@@GoldRangerFanGirl35 Yes ma'am Shelli! ♥️
There are no words for it. The touching prodigal coming back and truly pleading for forgiveness.
The spirit of God had Michael's soul filled to overflowing. You can see he sings it with every ounce of strength he had so to praise the Lord and beg Him for forgiveness. He truly believes what he is singing. 🙏
Thank you so much Kyle for reacting to this song. God bless us all and may He have mercy on us when our time comes. ✝️
OMG, I have followed him throughout his entre carrier. What a song !!!! No words…❤
Lyle - fun fact... Adam Crabb took Michael’s place in the GVB when he left the group (again) in 2014! Adam is still in the GVB and he and his twin are Jason’s brothers who sing with their 2 sisters as the Crabb Family. They are all sitting on the front row.
I watch this a couple times a day. Watching Jason hand over his Daddys song and so excited. I just watch all the reactions. I saw michael talking somewhere and he said that he felt so drawn to singing that song so Bill Gaither called over and asked Jason if they could.
Michael English is on my absolute favorite singers! Jason Crabb is another one of my absolute favorite singers! "Please Forgive Me" was written by Jason's dad, Gerald Crabb. He has written several other songs as well.
Wow..that got me right in the heart
The guy to the left in this video in the blue shirt - Jason Crabb - his father wrote this song as a testimony of his life. Jason Crabb has an amazing voice, too. He has a song called Sometimes I Cry that is awesome!
jason Crabb(on far left and sings at end) was cool to see his reaction to see his fathers song sung. You should listen to Gerald Crabb's testimony on why he wrote this song. Michael does a great job! I love the part of the song that shows Jason, Michael and Phelps in the same frame, the three best singers of southern gospel.
I’ve been a faithful fan of Michael for many years. All of his songs are more than just performances, they are so very heart felt.
I loved it and cried all the way through. It was very moving. The Gaither Vocal is one of the best bands out there. Thank you for sharing.
I still cannot watch it without crying. I can feel Michael's Pain and it tears me up.
Jason Crabb & the family, glad to call them my aunt's and uncles. I met Michael English back in 2015 during a Christmas concert. Got to sing with the gaithers, and the band. That same night. God has really blessed them all. And oh, what a testimony each of them have.
Absolutely fabulous to watch Michael do a song that Jason is famous for, his father Gerald Crabb wrote it, and Jason and both Adam and his twin credit Michael for their desire to sing gospel music. This had to be extra special for them. With the arrangement changed to allow the harmony to come in with a bang was extraordinary. You are correct, Michael meant every word of it. If you haven't heard him give his testimony, your missing out, but he just did with this song and everybody there knew it! Blessings
A powerful, wonderful message asking forgiveness in this song. Micheal was point on in this version.
I agree with you...it was absolutely amazing! I am so thankful for God's grace and mercy!
Knowing what he went through you just know how deeply he felt those words. It was breathtaking!
That is the Crab Family song. They sang this song many times on the Gaither videos. I just realized Jason Crab is standing there
Right after Michael had surgery a few years ago, the Gaither Vocal Band sang You Are My All In All. Please check that out
You say so much in a head nod, Lyle.
I’m a huge fan of Michael. He’s a fantastic singer and feels every emotion deeply. If you read his book The Prodical Comes Home you will understand what he went through to get back in God’s graces and be forgiven.
Pretty Powerful
Wow wow wow Go Micheal
The thing I have noticed about your reaction videos is that the emotion you feel is the same that I feel. I openly weep when I hear this song. (Jason Crabb’s version is amazing as well) I have been down a similar road in my life, and God’s precious love and grace for us can carry us through when all hope seems gone. Thank you for these videos, keep them coming. Blessings to you and yours
Ditto! ♥️
Oh Lyle! Thank you for this! I just love watching you react to this music so much in the same way that I do! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Lived it!!!! It’s now 2024… how is he doing?
The big difference in gospel music that makes it stand out is the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
one of my favorites.
I loved this and I love you and your heart!!! In His Love...your friend in Texas!💜🎶💜🎶💜
Beautiful reaction. Could you please react to Michael English, Gaither Vocal Band - I Bowed On My Knees (Live) It will bless you. Thank you Jesus for the cross.
If you look up the word redemption in the dictionary, Michael's name would be there. His life story is nothing short of courageous and inspirational. He's the real deal singing this song straight from his heart. Thank you Lyle for reacting to this one. Bill Gaither played a big role in helping him through the fire. 💜💜💜
Have you read his book?
@@emmajenkins7111 Yes
Please react Jason Crabb though!!! I love Michael English, but this is the Crabb family song for sure. Daystar with David is a good one.
That one guy at the end who joined in is Jason And Adam Crabb’s dad who wrote those words if I’m not mistaken. Jason was the one who sang lead on it with his family.
I absolutely agree with you about this video, Michael has a beautiful God gifted voice! I tear up every time I watch this video of him singing! He's amazing!! My fav of all Gospel singer's, it's like there's no words for his voice, it's Awesome, just Awesome!! Thank God for intervening in Michael's path and directed him to the right path 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Wow what a song for his testimony, and you don't get any better backup singers than that! As Lyle would say, amazing!
One thing we must understand.
When we sin, HE has one requirement. REPENT.
HE even said, "I know your frame, I remember that you are dust"
The gentleman who joined in on the last chorus was Jason Crabb. I can’t remember if he wrote this song or if it was his father, but he is another sincerely anointed singer who deserves a listen. Listen to him sing “Through the Fire”
I stumbled upon your content here on This reaction video... am watching it and suddenly tears 😢 rolled down my eyes.... That song Please Forgive Me. Was written by Jason's father Gerald Crabb. Jason did that concert and he featured the GVB. That song was not on their concert running sheets, Fast -Foward ... Vocal band sang 2 songs, Jason then told about his music career how he started back then, Michael English was the one that inspired him, he added he love how Michael interpret songs. So Michael was asked to sing that song as an Honor to Jason as a special Treat. ❤🙏🎵🎶. Little infor about that video. Get that Jason crabb DVD you'll find it.
I am so amazed by this song! Michael sang with his soul! I believe everyone can relate to his song - I know can. I’ve fallen away so many times, I can’t remember how many. Thank you Michael, I felt every word and every note! GOD bless you!
Gut level, real testimony. Made me cry.
Love Michael English
That was absolutely beautiful. It does get you in the feelings. Thank you for the reaction.
Really wonderful song, I love this very much!!!
This is a outstanding performance by Michael English and the GVB! This same forgiveness and mercy in this song is for EVERYONE. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that "whosoever" believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life. Please ask Jesus to forgive you and accept him today.
Great song.., I really enjoy your reaction videos… I would love it if you would do a reaction to Worthy The Lamb by the GVB. Thanks Lyle😊
You said it right , Micheal Killed it .
Amazing
Michael Phelp said on an interview that in his bucket list was to one day sing with Michael English,he got his wish.
I love the sincerity of your reaction, Lyle.
Total surrender. Thank you Jesus
Michael did a wonderful job in this song. Jason Crabb is who joined in at the end. His brother Adam Crabb is in the Vocal Band now. I really appreciated it too!
The guy on the left is Jason Crabb. His dad wrote the song
Having a personal understanding of turning away from God… I believe that Michael was sincere in this performance… it’s beautiful how Gods mercy and grace in each of our lives covers us through His blood… this is so encouraging to others that feel they can’t make right, their wrongs.❤
One of my favorite songs of Gods grace and MERCY!!!!
Jason Crabb's father wrote that song.
Jason Crabb's father wrote this song when he had sunken to his lowest point. God brought him back. This Gaither Vocal Band group is one of the best. Just missing Guy Penrod.
Fabulous song, with Jason Crabb right there. This was fantastic live, when they come together in the end!
Beautiful! And, I just love your reactions and how transparent you are!!! You really bless my ❤️! Thank you!
Stunningly honest❤❤😢❤❤❤❤
Do yourself a favor and listen to The Crabb Family sing this song. Their father wrote it. Jason Crabb can bring you to tears. One song I’d recommend is The Cross. Absolutely beautiful song. Check him out!
Jason Crabb actually sang that song first with his family. Jason was the guy singing with Michael at the end. Now Jason has quite a voice too!!
Jason wrote it, Michael sang it. Bill Gaither can take a song, and turn it into a masterpiece; IMHO the most powerful musician on the face of this earth. He sees the potential in the elements, and can fit the pieces together. he was not afraid to bring Michael back into the fold. Faith and love in action. Your reaction was as powerful as this piece. LOVE TO YOU FROM TORONTO!!
You have to listen to Jason Crabb. Phenomenal! Wanna be more moved than you are already by David, Jason is a must ❤
I love Michael English so much! Unfortunately, Adam Crabb couldn’t wait until he could jump in and sing with MIchael and David and Mark!!
You must see child of the king, by micjael english too
One of the most powerful performances I’ve seen, as you can see his passion and emotion throughout each part. Great reaction, always love listening to your feedback
Oh my heavens, I have no words
This was performed at Jason Crabb concert DVD we should get some Jason Crabb reactions on here I sent you a Link on Facebook for Sometimes I Cry
Gerald Crabb wrote this song after coming out of a dark place, Jason Crabb and his sisters do a fantastic job with this song, and the whole Crabb Family sing with such anointed voice.
Michael English did a good job with it, but I still prefer Jason Crabb and his sisters for this one.
In the Bible, Luke 15:11-32, the parable of the prodigal son. We can always choose to come home & ask for forgiveness.
thank you mate a bit of a stressful day on duty appreciated this i have never heard it before late lunch enjoying
Please do a reaction to Michael English singing The Old Rugged Cross Made the Difference with the vocal band. You’ll love it.
Truly, gospel music is the only music that is meaningful
Most of us, or at least many of us know what it is like to come to know the Lord and then go back out into the world. God said He will follow us and bring us back to Him. We struggle with guilt, those of us who have gone back out into the world, once, twice, several times, but GOD! He is merciful and good, and patient and He always reminds us who we are in Him and brings us back home, to Him. Great song!!
Jason’s reaction is so awesome.
Lyle, please react to "Midnight Cry" by Jason Crabb. He is the young man in the blue shirt featured at the end. You can feel it with him as well.
Lyle you got to watch if you haven't seen it.. not sure what had happened with Michael English there though but I guess he's been singing since then so I guess he healed. Jason is such an amazing guy too. ua-cam.com/video/q6gq7IW3h34/v-deo.html
The video below was when he first came back to the Gaither events. To his credit, Bill Gaither never turned his back on Michael. Almost every other Christian under the sun did. It was disgusting. In addition to this Please Forgive Me version, I also get teary-eyed when I watch this version (below) of Lord Feed Your Children.
ua-cam.com/video/PK8zSFMS6lk/v-deo.html
If you aren’t familiar with Jason Crabb and the Crabb family you need to acquaint yourself with them. I’d Rather Have Jesus, Through the Fire, and The Lion, The Lamb, The King.
Hi, sir, Respond to Mr "Devin Townsend" next time pls. His singing style is a combination of heavy metal and opera. This is the title of his video“QUARANTINE CONCERT #1: Benefit for Vancouver Hospital Foundation”
are Jason and Adam Crabb twins?
Donna, Jason and Adam are not twins. They have another brother, Aaron who is Adam's twin.
Crabb does it better. it feels like real conviction
