Hi Folks. I had the privilege of attending this concert. It was 5 hours of this "Gospel" Music. From hearing your reactions concerning God, you are on the right road. The entire group on stage and most in the audience all have a deep personal relationship with God, not so much religious, but that presence of God's Spirit. It is very real. All of this music tells the story of God's love for us through the birth, death and resurrection of His son Jesus Christ. Keep listening and questioning who God/Jesus/Holy Spirit is. As far as the 4 singers, you know David Phelps. The tall gentleman with long hair is Guy Penrod, another phenomenal Voice. The man in between them is Grammy award winner Russ Taft and the gentleman on the right is Bill Gaither. The creator of "The Gaither Vocal Band". Bill and his wife Gloria are probably the most prolific Gospel Music writers of the past 50 years. This is all because God has blessed each of these performers because they use their gifts of music to spread the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as they live out their lives for Him. Thanks for your reaction. David connects emotionally to what he is singing more than any singer I have seen. He is a kind and genuine person also. I agree the world would be a better place if we all would live from a heart of love, but the suffering we go through can make us bitter. Having the Holy Spirit living in us can help us rise above our natural tendencies to be selfish and protective, to reach out with kindness to others as Jesus, who is our example, did. I pray we will all turn to Him to enable us to live a life more like His.

The faith of David Phelps, the Gaither Band, and those on the videos is faith in God, through His Son Jesus Christ, who carried our sins to the Cross. He took our place on the Cross and made the way for us to have relationship with God. He redeemed us and that is the emotion and message you are hearing and feeling in the videos. Jesus loves you. He lived the perfect life we couldn't live. He died on the Cross, was buried, and on the third day was resurrected from the dead. He ascended to the right hand of God and is returning. He is our salvation. 🙂

So they puthim in musical an voice school he went on to college singing was offered several singing opportunities even some classical music. But he choose to follow god an sing gospel music. "End of the Beginning" Now there is a song that is the Official song for Alzheimer's and Dementia which is "HELLO BEAUTIFUL" . AND "Let the Glory Come Down" from the Christmas Special. In listening to your comments about them 'looking up'...I must say that there is a great number of Christians here in USA that have a 'relationship' with Christ Jesus.....those who KNOW with all their being that He Lives, He listens, He hears, He loves. They are NOT practicing a religion. They are Christians in the sense of being followers of Christ.

The questions you are asking about humanity are the question a relationship with Jesus Christ answers. I was an atheist until age 30 when someone really explained to me who Jesus is and why He came to sacrifice himself to pay the penalty for my sins. He has changed my life and that was 42 years ago…

When you understand what Jesus did for you on the cross, you understand the FREEDOM we have. You can be free from worry, and uncertainty by receiving Jesus into your heart. Their voices are just an avenue to Jesus. He will change you.
