More often than not, it's actually the general public breaking these, by not heeding the warning, "don't open while slats are closed" meaning if you can't see through the blind, don't close it. 85% of our in-stock replacements are just for people breaking strings in the headrail while doing this, as it puts unnecessary forces on a 20¢ string.
