Thank you so much for covering this! Iphone user here too, do you think if/when they do fix it you guys could give us an update? Too scared to update the app at this point in case it gets locked further.
My dongle says FOC311 and doesn't allow me to change many settings. Says Expert OLD on the app. Is there any updates or firmware I can get? Where to download new updates and firmware?
Where to connect the wiring harness for the ND96680 driver, you can show in more detail, otherwise I did not figure out half of the wires, how to connect them, for example, I found a regenerative brake wire, one wire, but where to get the second wire, how to connect them to the brake handle
thanks for the video. I want to buy a fardriver 72530 controller for my surron but I'm scared that I don't know how to configure it and that it's stuck in its box. Could you please make a video on how to configure a fardriver controller from keto? It would be of great help to everyone. Thanks a lot
I have everything wired up and my controller is not beeping anymore . Im Trying to pair my controller but the Bluetooth dongle is not lighting up nor is it pairing . What do it do ?

Hi just wondering if you might be able to help me again, when I go in to auto set up it is giving me a error hall sensors. I have a brand new wheel is it a problem with the wheel. Thank you
It won't let me but I have 2 yellow wires one with a red strip and the other has a brown strip and gray wire and a purple one and a blue one and a orange one all singles
You said the motor is overheating. I am betting that your motor is overheating because you have the gearing too tall. I am guessing that sprocket combo is 12:38 which means it will do 110mph at 6000 RPM ... but it will never reach that because that motor doesn't have the horsepower (NM) to overcome the wind resistance & weight at that speeds so essentially you are wasting a bunch of torque. With my Polaris Outlaw and a Zero 75-7R motor it uses 400Amps @ 100V (40kW) at 60mph so in reality you will never reach more than 50mph with the motor you have. If you gear it for a top speed of 50mph with either a gear box or jackshaft to increase torque you will not have overheating problems and you will bet better performance.
Hi thanks for the comment / the motor wasn’t overheating it got to a normal operating temperature but it’s a water cooled motor running without coolant , we wanted to get an idea of the cooling requirements first so we ran it without any coolant to get a sample of motor temperature. Now we have an idea of what kind of radiator and cooling setup we need for the motor . The Polaris Outlaw sounds awesome do you have any videos of it running ? Thanks
Hey, you must have an old version of the App software. I've got v2.2.3 on IOS and it works fine no need to do anything special. It'd be useful to know about how to find the firmware version and how to update that using the App...
Hi thanks for the message . This was filmed 5 months ago and was an older version of the software . We decided to keep the video up as it shows that fardriver are constantly updating and improving
@@KiloVoltBikes lol just jesting with you. I've built a six wheel vehicle with pickup back driven by four hub motors on the rear. I've custom designed welded, cnc, and turned most of the parts. Full independent suspension traction control and abs braking. I've had it up to 66mph but my main issue now is making cat tracks for the rear so I don't have register it as a motor vehicle.
@@HardcoreHokage best thing to do is make sure you’ve “binded” with the controller . On the connect page you will see a button which says bind , you’ll need to enter your email address and you will receive a code which you need to enter , once it says controller is bound app should work flawlessly
@@KiloVoltBikes ye I've using asi bac855 controller but I've burnt out two of them and there expensive as fuck. I'm probably gonna get a fardriver and reverse engineer it and make my own sinewave generator and programme the software to make it more durable and user friendly.
