this video is nice but it's kinda dissapointing. they didn't really explain lolita fashion. it was about street fashion in general not only lolita. if a person didn't know alot about lolita and they saw this, they would be lead to believe that the street fashion that was worn through the video was ALL lolita. it was quiet mixed, and I think it would have been better to show better examples of diffrent fashions other that only talking about lolita and showing other fashions. they should have said "lolita is inspired by victorian Era clothing." and they should have maybe shown more images of lolita. then they could have explained that other fashions such as Decora, fairy kei and other fashions are diffrent and not the same thing. they just labeled all fashion as lolita and that's confusing for people who don't really know what lolita is.
I'm sure most people outside of the Lolita Fashion scene, will want to know more about it just by watching this video. 👩👗👚👜👛👢👠❤️🇯🇵

This was definitely not a bad documentary at all, the reporter was kind and respectful and never made light of anything or joked about harajuku fashion in a mean way. But my criticism is that the substyles of harajuku fashion, like gyaru, lolita, maybe decora, etc., were not visited on at all. The only time the audience gets a clear view of lolita fashion is when rinrin shows her coord at the end, otherwise it was talked about a fair amount but never actually shown. It would have been more educational if the reporter either tried on lolita fashion, or showcased more lolitas to give the audience a clear idea of what the general silhouette and style of lolita looks like. I am also disappointed that only brief clips were shown of gyaru fashion; a fashion i wish was reported on more than it is. There was so much opportunity for education about all different harajuku substyles in this doc, yet the 7 minutes barely scratched the surface of any of them.
She did such a good work on Sonya. She looks awesome!

This video was interesting... but
1. Brian Joo was on it for one second but I don't understand why.. lol That was very random.
2. This was Harajuku fashion and stores rather than Lolita fashion.
3. (more serious part) You said 'culture' but didn't really do anything to understand the culture. The comments that youtuber (Rin Rin Doll) made were actually related to the history of lolita culture/otaku culture which was very negatively judged before (and even still many people see it very negatively because of a famous murder case and just the idea of it makes some ppl disgusted). I think there should've been more research on it and understanding of it.
I think it's cool that you want to try some unique clothing style from different countries but to say that you are exploring 'culture'... I think you should educate yourself more because when you make those kind of videos, you are not delivering the real cultural facts and this really makes people biased towards something.
