I'm a songwriter from North Carolina USA. Tom and my father were the same age. Heartfelt songs are recognized around the world. Anywhere you are raised, heartfelt is heartfelt! Write and sing songs from your heart, especially about your life! Life is Good! wherever you are from ,thank GOD for another day to enjoy songs from a man like Tom Conners!

I'm an American fan, first introduced to Stompin' Tom's music via the use of Tom's Song "To It And At It" in the SCTV skit "Garth and Gord and Fiona and Alice" (aka Yonge Street). At the time I had no idea who Stompin' Tom was. It wasn't until a few years later, on a trip through Canada, that I heard a concert promo, for what proved to be his 1990 comeback tour, that I finally learned the singer's identity. I immediately pulled off the road and ran into a K-mart, and bought the Bud The Spud and Hockey Song albums on cassette!
I recently found a copy of his 2nd autobiography "Stompin Tom And The Connors Tone" in the basement of a 2nd hand bookstore. I wan't even looking for it, and suddenly, there it was!
This program is a great compliment to the book, and really brings Tom's words to life. Thanks for posting!!!!!

I had his book before the 'Stompin Tom Connors' Before the Fame.I buy it so cheap when I was working in Brunei for only 5$ that was in 2004.I just keep it.When I was pregnant at 2007 I suddenly saw it on my things and started to read it.It was so nice that I keep on crying because he tells the story about his childhood and about his mom.It was a sad story.Until how he was enter to the music industry. His life was so sad.I really love that book that I wasnt able to keep it because of the typhoon that keeps coming back in forth in my country. Now,I thank youtube because I saw him already.I idolized him before eventhough I didnt even saw or knew him.I just like the way he is as an orphan boy, until he became a teenager. But I got to know last 2014 I search in google if hes still alive or how old is he.I got saddened because he passed away already. Now I got to know his songs and I got the chance to see his face in his old videos..I cried..I was so sad..I can still remember his stories on his book.I was a very very nice book to read.So heartwarming and full of inspiration. So humble and yet so sad. Thanks God I got the chance to see my idol once again.
