Compared to you, Linus makes scrub tier builds with rgb lighting levels that would make Las Vegas jealous.
This construct, this build, is a masterpiece.

Anyway the first Athlon XP 1600+ totally smashed the 1400 TUALATIN in every way, Yeah and you didn't need an expensive board to run it too, the first XP chips could work fine in an old Thunderbird motherboard, and did I mention how cool 😎 they ran (unlike the Thunderbird cores lol

It's an incredible hardware mount for it's time, except for the innovatek "airtrap" which was really failing at his job to prevent air from circulating on the water circuit. We can see it very well on your video (we can see the vortex and air that is sucked despite the waterflow is quite low due tiny tubs diameter). This was making the pump quite noisy. I remember to have mod both my 1048 pump and airtrap in order to circumvent this issue.
I was really annoyed by the noise of my P4 + R 9700 so I decided water-cool them. At this time it was really harder to build a silent powerfull setup so I ended up buying 10 modules of first gen cape cora passive radiators. That was not the best idea in the world! I had to mod it for a quite high cost in order to have a reasonable water flow.

You can clearly see how the system's weak point manifests itself in DOOM 3. There is not enough bandwidth for the system bus, which is divided between two processors. I also have a dual-processor Board (SuperMicro P3TDDE), and when monitoring games like HL2, DOOM 3 - either loaded 1 processor, or two but half. Moreover, when overclocking the bus at least to 140 MHz, the load of processors increases(apparently they are less idle if the bandwidth of the bus increases).

And be sure to do something with this liquid, preferably dedicated to LC premixed transparent liquid, distilled water is good, but it loses its properties much faster than ready-made liquids with anti-corrosion additives. For better performance Try CL2 RAM. Now when watercooled, can you go past 155MHz FSB? (On Air I cant go any higher - but that was on ST6 and 1cpu only :( )

I tried OC by DIPs. 142 FSB is ok, 152 didn‘t post. P3-S is not good for OC ... best Tualatins for OC are Celerons 1.2-1.3 ... I will do something with OC bt on different board.

@@RETROHardware i doubt the pci bus is locked on that dual socket 370 mobo mate.
      142 MHz / 4 is 35.5MHz pci bus but it’s default is 33.34 MHz.
I’ve ran the pci bus at around 36.5Mhz before, but 37 and over is likely not going to work, as it’s too far out of spec

I think that the GPU is holding you back. With so much horse power in the cpus you definitely need something like FX5900, but again you probably only had the bracket for the 9700. Good vid.
