A young New York Louis! Was looking up FreePBX stuff and hit this. BTW: I set up my IVR as a test phone number so it immediately plays Amish Paradise by Weird Al, and if you press a number, it plays another Weird Al song.
very nice video i am having an issue with ivr in elastix 2.5 version. the menu keeps on speaking and even when i press digits like press 1 for sales it does not accept my input. please help.
Thanks, this helped me a lot. I had a question though. I have 2 different trunks. I wanted to apply a different IVR to the different trunks. But I couldn't figure out how to do this. I tried creating different inbound routes based on the DID but nothing worked here. In the call log, I don't even see a DID number coming in from my 2 SIP lines. I really couldn't figure out a way to say 'Use this inbound route only for calls with this trunk'. If you know how, leave a comment! Thanks.
Hi! Great video!, Can you please comment me the most suggested paid modules to be used in freepbx? Thanks!!! I need to create a dialer campaign and I[m looking option for a PBX fom my side (freepbx or 3cx) Can you make a video about? Regards!!!
Hi Louis, i have a problem. I set a miscelenious destination to my cellphone and add it to an IVR. When i select IVR number of this destination it calls my phone but i hear my IVR announcement in my cellphone, not direct connection to caller.
+Louis Rossmann So ... the customer has to contact you, the service provider, or have access to the backend/admin UI to make or change their IVR message?
Hi, I just want to know one thing, i have setup one DID in freepbx and set destination to queues and on queues there is 2 extensions, when i make call i am getting call on both ext. then call getting established and getting music on hold, but i want that call will not established until some one pickup the call, and want only want to listen ring. The reason is when call established with out pickup the call, that time billing DID billing get started, I want call will go multiple ext. but without established connection until some one receive the call. Is it possible ?
You can run FreePBX on a virtual machine inside a PC, install Zoiper on your android and the aforementioned PC, and bam! As long as all of them are connected to the correct network, they will be able to call each other
What he _didn't_ show you is that a) you need a LAN line b) you need to plug it into a $700-$3,000 "Appliance" from Sangoma c) you into a Linux computer d) and after a bunch of downloading, flashing, and installation, you get to where Louis is with FreePBX
That's pure BS!! True, if you don't have a SIP trunk (60 USD /year) you will not be able to make and receive calls from the outside world, but you will be able to call to other extensions inside your business. Your "Appliance" statement is also crap, it can be used with Zoiper free without a problem. FreePbx can run on a crappy laptop or even a raspberry pi, and it's installed with a fully automated linux installation script.

Hi great video! I have a question.. Can FreePBX be used without a PBX phone system and only an android phone with Zoiper and/PC?

How do we get the misc destination? in our fleshly installed FreePBX we can not find it, is there a way to enable it in settings?
Just install it from Admin->Module admin->check online
