Whenever I see a quiet crowd, I don't think they're bored of the performance. I think of it as they're so mesmerized from the sweet guitar playing that they just stand there in awe.

The Peppers are the purest musical experience you can have at a stadium show. Most shows are super produced and programmed. These guys jam as they please and their songs can have improvised changes whenever they want

You take a single component out of this line up and you lose a major reason this band is one of best ever. John and Flea read each other like theyre telepathically aligned. Chad is like a composer, he keeps them in check, he controls the flow so well. The vocals are beyond iconic. John and Flea are two of the most talented musicians alive today. I'd go so far to say John is so good on guitar it periodically drives him insane.

The kids that came to this show, after they grow up will be like my father took me to one of rhcp's concert when I was 10 and I fell in love with their band and since then I always played their song wherever I go.....
I like how they pay close attention to John's harmony vocals in this video. His singing adds so much to the song but you may not even notice it if they didn't show him on camera. It's amazing that he can hold his rhythm on the guitar and sing those parts so clearly.
Flea is so in charge of that band! Him and Chad totally compliment John's style completely. Then Anthony comes in to spill the syrup on top. I love RHCP!
the live (with some likely touchups) sound is so perfectly engineered and mixed, one of the few times i can hear almost every instrument, voice, and sound EQUALLY. amazing performance.
Love the way they werre just riffing off each other before AK pounced onto the stage. So comfortabe with each other they know where it's going before it even goes there. Totally professional with such flair & enthuiasm. Glad JF is back, as good as JK was filling in for those years in between. THIS is the proper RHCP line up.
