This recording was exclusively created for the Library of Congress for the blind. It got "liberated" by someone and recorded onto cassette tapes, then digitally recorded off those. There is no place you can buy this version of the Sword of Truth series read by Nick Sullivan. This is actually one of the best quality from that original leak.
I was lucky enough to read this first by mistake. Went straight out to get the Wizard's First Rule immediately after. Knew from the START Sebastian was a dog BTW
Pillars' biggest problem is that it follows the best book: Faith of the Fallen which is compounded by the fact the entire book is world-building for the final 4 books and finale to the entire saga. Part of a great series; but the hardest book to enjoy in it.
@@bitharne I actually read this book first, by mistake, without realizing it was a series until the end. Mind bending way to be introduced to the characters, and I RAN to pick up Wizard's First Rule the day I finished Pillars
Thank you for doing this. Reliving this experience in this way is quite satisfying. Thank you so much!
It's better than no story. I'm fine with the Channel.
so far, way better book than Faith of the Fallen!
NOOOOO THE SAUSAGES NOOOOOO
Great stuff except for bad recording.

Nothing wrong with the narration. Just a lot of crap not following the main line of the story too much background. Fucking drives me crazy.
U got to have book 7 to understand book 8
