Whilst politicians strut about, pompously pontificating, talking a lot but saying nothing, thousands are dying and being maimed. For decades politicians on all sides have failed to listen to each other, to put common humanity and decency at the front of their decisions. Still the fighting continues, still the basic rights of Gazans is denied, and the rich and powerful, the UN and other bodies are suffocated by their inability to ACT.
