      @@WaveOfTheRagerwhile surely expensive and undoubtedly expertly tailored to his specific demands, Vince's suits never seemed to be too well fitting. They were always too big, too long, too wide. As I said, expertly tailored, but to achieve a look that always seemed "off".

    • @KomradeKrusher
      @KomradeKrusher 6 місяців тому +2

      @@andrewvaughan5686 yeah, the exaggerated shoulders are one thing the other is length. His pants are actually fine, they look off because his jackets are usually way too long. It's very noticeable when he's standing with his arm(s) just hanging by his side. As I said, I believe everything he does is comoletely on purpose, but given that he doesn't have a long torso, I'm not sure why he does that. He appears almost comically top heavy, but maybe that's the goal.

    Was Triple H running things back then?

      I believe Triple H was on his second (and last) day with WCW (fun fact: Triple H only worked 2 days with WCW, it would have been hilarious if some higher ups told Paul Levesque “You’re not amount to 💩 in this business” )

      @@sawtooth808some of them thought he'd never get a push again after the curtain call.
      And most back then probably thought he was a pompous ass like his helmsley character.
      What saved him from being buried/jobbed was hanging out with shawn Michaels then going on to form DegenerationX.
      HHH got a lot of liberties afterwards such as hooking up with steph and he took advantage of every single one.
      I like Triple H, he had great athleticism, was damn good on the stick and seemingly know's what's best for business.

      USWA Unified Heavyweight Championship. It was the WCWA and AWA World Heavyweight Championship titles. This would have been roughly September/October of 1993

      @@colinconnolly892It's a title that's oddly not recognized as a World Title even though it's creation is from 2 major territories. It's considered a 2nd tier World Title And because of that we recognize Ric Flair as the all time leader in World championships and not Jerry Lawler because Jerry has twice as many world championships if you count the unified World championship as a legitimate title. This is where things get tricky. It basically is one person's opinion versus another. And "historians" have politically decided that Jerry Lawler can't be the best of all time so therefore those titles don't count.
      Personally I count them. This also makes Rick Rude a champion & some others that are not included on the list. The way I see it the AWA & any title comparable to the AWA or any other territory on par with the AWA is a valid world championship.
      That's why Hulk Hogan is actually a 13 time Champ & not a 12 time Champ imo. But those are the kind of everlasting arguments that people will have in the upper tiers of the wrestling community.
