Imagine you’re at the airport, starving, but with just enough time to quickly grab some food before jumping on your connecting flight. As you’re running out of time, you find a Popeyes and run towards the register, suddenly, Keith appears in front of you, getting to the register mere seconds before you do. You see him pull out the list with the entire menu written on it. You weep.

It's something you have to get used to with Popeyes. I don't go anymore because their workers are the worse. Cold food, food missing, ridiculously long wait, wrong order... I just had to give up.

The trick with cane's is to always get extra sauce, and then dip the texas toast in the sauce, along with the chicken and fries. Cane's food is basically a shovel for their sauce.

Why are people upset over Keith promoting his hot sauce? Let him, he's proud of it.
Honestly, I'm not upset, but it's really weird to see someone who doesn't like heat promoting hot sauce. As a lover of spice, I'm just not interested. The reviews on the website are great, but they're all from people who claim they can't handle heat. If you consider yourself a wimp when it comes to spice I say go for it. But whenever he plugs it I can't help but roll my eyes. It's a chicken sauce, sure, but it's NOT what I would call a hot sauce. Seems like it's mostly vinegar from the reviews and product description.
If the president can conduct business out of the oval office, Keith can promote his sauce on his You Tube videos.

@@YuniX2 Wait so someone who isn't good at handling heat isn't allowed to like it? Yeah maybe it's not as hot as a typical hot sauce if it's something he can handle but it might be a decent hot sauce to other people who can't handle spice either. I'm a huge hot sauce/spicy fan but I think people need to chill with this superiority complex about being able to handle spice more than others. To some it might not be hot and to others it is. It's about perspective. People should just eat what they want to eat. There's no need to put him in a box.
@@YuniX2 I too am a hot sauce lover, and I like heat. Got dried ghost chilis in my cabinet and an array of nostril scorching sauces. But I can't hate on a well seasoned mild hot sauce. Sometimes I just want a flavor booster and can take or leave the extra heat. Sometimes I mix sauces.
Honestly something I like about Keith's constant plugs for his hot sauce is that he didn't just slap his name on a pre existing one or partner with an already large company. It's something he put effort into himself, for himself, because it's something he enjoys, its not just a product of connections that fits with his branding

That Popeyes obviously sucks. They gave him coke instead of sweet tea, and they only gave him 1 sauce for like.... multiple orders of chicken fingers. Also shorted him on the side portions.

I worked at Raising Canes, and yep, we make the Lemonde with fresh lemons every morning. I can also confirm that about 1/3 of the Sweet Tea is just sugar. Whenever there was a spillage we had to wipe it up immediately otherwise it would dry into syrup
Also you can order the chicken sandwich with Texas toast instead of the normal buns
adding that the girl probably thought he said no coleslaw extra fries, which is why she said those two items don’t come with coleslaw so they can’t be substituted. and yep at least at my store we juice 5-10 batches of lemon juice each morning, and the sweet tea has a fuckton of sugar lol

I honestly love the promos of his sauce, he does it in a fun way. And as a real fan it’s fun to watch Keith’s succeed in other fields besides just UA-cam because he is super talented and it’s fun to watch him remind everyone. Power to the sauce!!

As someone who is Louisiana born and raised, I must say a few things:
1. The worst part of every Popeyes is the service.
2. Popeyes is better in Louisiana, and here, getting the spicy version of everything is a must.
3. Cane's sauce is a game-changer.
4. It really hurt my heart when you kept spelling jambalaya as "jumbalaya."

As a Cane's employee, all of what you said feels pretty accurate. The trick is to sub for more sauce or more toast instead of slaw! (No, I don't know why she told you that you couldn't, maybe she was new or it was an odd location but you should be able to sub on any combo, except kids meals)

I worked at Raising Cane's and I can vouch for the fact that they do, in fact, make their own lemonade and the Cane's sauce is made and packaged in house.
I've cut my hands so many times on the damn lemon juicer. But making lemonade and pumping the Cane's sauce into the little containers were the best part of my day.
I actually loved that job and miss it so I'm glad they're getting some love.
i hated juicing lemons every morning fjdndkdmx you cut ur finger and have to keep juicing and it jus huRts,, but yea it was a great place to work at :((( my favourite part tho is whenever i ever got to work toast in the kitchen (i was foh but also a ct). its such a chill time doing toast lmao

as a former cane's employee, you 1000000000000000% can swap sides in the 3 finger combo and the sandwich combo.... bro they flat out lied to you

As a former Cane's employee, here're some tidbits, in no particular order:
-Ask for the sandwich combo on toast. Not only will you probably get it faster, but it tastes waaay better on the toast.
-If you want a three finger combo with an extra piece of toast, get the box combo and sub the coleslaw for toast. It's slightly cheaper and slightly easier/faster for the workers to make--/and/ you get an extra chicken finger!
-The sweet tea has a massive amount of sugar (in my own personal opinion, most people disagree and that's fine.) I point this out because if you're like me and don't enjoy/can't have a lot of sugar, your best bet is to get unsweet tea and add your own sweetener. They're made from the same tea bags, so you're not missing anything.
-The lemonade /is/ made fresh daily. This isn't a tip so much as just informational. The longest lemonade might last (at the restaurant I worked at) was maximum one day.
I haven't worked for them in a while so I'm blanking on other tips, but if I think of any I'll add them, and hopefully others will too!
another tip: ask for butter on both sides on the toast!
Fyi as well, the sauce was originally a project for a college sales assignment at LSU. The chicken was seconda thought.

The first time I went to raising canes they weren't super busy but the chicken still ended up being undercooked which gave me the worst food poisoning ever. So my one tip as a former customer is, don't go there.
My tip is to eat the Fries first and then the chicken because the chicken gets better if you let it sit however the fries can’t sit that long so you get the best of both worlds!!

I was so excited to see Keith try the Cajun poutine and then I realized that’s probably a Canadian thing
As someone that works at a Canes I can tell you that they completely lied to you. You can substitute the toast. fries, sauce, or slaw on any combo... They prolly just feeling lazy. Except sandwich combo and 3 finger have no slaw.

@@koalakisser9769 I'll give a brief run down, you can get the toast buttered on both sides, also can have the toast as the bread in the sandwich, chicken and fries can be made extra crispy and chicken can also be cooked "naked", that is without batter. I mentioned the Honey Mustard and yeah. you can make an Arnold Palmer, Lemonade mixed with Tea or do a half unsweet half sweet tea. Thats about it :)

As someone who’s worked at raising canes, yea that employee who took their order deadass lied to them dndndmmd. you can sub any side for any other side, you just cant sub for extra fingers, and you can only sub the cane sauce for honey mustard. that was so weird watching their ordering experience cause i took orders all the time and it’s literally on the screen the different sub choices you can make on a combo. oh also!! yes the lemonade is freshly-made!! 6am openers squeeze lemons for 3 hours straight for it :(((. also little secrets for anyone who wants to try it, order your toast “bob style” (buttered on both sides) for more flavor, and ask to add butter to your sandwich (plus if u put hot sauce on it its so good)

I'm proud of you Keith for choosing not to promote a place that sends money to such controversial causes. I'm up in Michigan and there's only a couple chick-fil-a locations here and it's all southern Michigan areas, so the closest one would be an hour and a half drive, but I pass by a Popeyes on my way to work sometimes and I always have to stop there if I pass it once per week.

Was hungry and tired from vax booster so I came here for Keith to recommend me what to get lol. The delivery guy may have circled an area for 30 min and arrived over an hour later (I will assume he was challenged to a duel in the parking lot) but anything for popeyes. Chicken sandwich and tenders got me 🤤🤤🤤
