  • Black History Month reminds us of the power of the village-the collective strength that has sustained Black communities through history. Today, we dive into the importance of rebuilding and maintaining strong, self-sufficient networks that foster economic empowerment, resilience, and generational success.
For centuries, communities of color have understood that no one is coming to save us. This video explores the historical roots of race as a social construct and why self-sufficiency has always been key to survival and prosperity. It’s time to shift our mindset from just getting an education for a job to using knowledge to build wealth and uplift our communities.
Imagine a world where Black-owned businesses thrive, fresh food is abundant, and wealth circulates within the community. This isn’t a dream-it’s our history, and it’s our future. Let’s take control, educate ourselves, and be the exception.

Trying to establish our village in Oklahoma. So many of us are so colonized that we can’t see the writing on the wall. So much black-owned farm land being taken/sold for pennies on the dollar. Thanks for sharing!
