The Power of the Village: A Black History Month Perspective on Community & Success
Black History Month reminds us of the power of the village-the collective strength that has sustained Black communities through history. Today, we dive into the importance of rebuilding and maintaining strong, self-sufficient networks that foster economic empowerment, resilience, and generational success.
For centuries, communities of color have understood that no one is coming to save us. This video explores the historical roots of race as a social construct and why self-sufficiency has always been key to survival and prosperity. It’s time to shift our mindset from just getting an education for a job to using knowledge to build wealth and uplift our communities.
Imagine a world where Black-owned businesses thrive, fresh food is abundant, and wealth circulates within the community. This isn’t a dream-it’s our history, and it’s our future. Let’s take control, educate ourselves, and be the exception.

USDA! The federal government does not support free market. The USA civilian right is to market your product. You are solely responsible for the product you trade. If your product kills someone you are judged by a court.

Don’t be foolish dude! We were not slaves. We owned the land in America so of course we were the first farmers in America. Stop dishonoring your ancestors. That’s why the ancestors are not blessing y’all! That’s why dark complexioned American farmers have lost the majority of the land they owned in America! Break the spell and honor your ancestors so you can get rid of your curses and reclaim your ancestral lands in America

“Exercise their rights as squatters” ? That’s not a right, it’s invasion when you are trying to settled in someone else’s land… IF they were not already Americans moved from another place. Otherwise, thank you for the video, there is still A LOT to learn about all this because the way the story was told is much too simplistic. First of all: who were these so-called “blacks”? Deported people? From where? From other parts of America or from farther? Or all of it at once ? Aboriginal people? From where? Watch @Kurimeo Ahau for a (factual) vision of it.

I remember the Alamo movie with John Wayne. I don't remember any mention of slavery. In the movie, David Bowie had a Black "servant" who threw his body over the sick bedridden Bowie just as the Mexican soldiers were bayoneting Bowie. I guess that's Hollywood for you. Those Blacks just loved their masters so much!
