Just wanted to clarify some mistakes or points that could help you and others watching. 😊 1:16 The Arabian Tea House restaurant is a great one but nothing beats having food from an actual traditional kitchen. There are many of them in the UAE. 1:56 "Qishta" is basically fresh cream, not cheese. 2:22 This thin bread is called "Rgag" which literally translates to thin. 2:50 This is not Masala Chai. It is Karak Chai, which is also Indian, but the tea in it is boiled for a longer time, has thicker condensed milk, and has fewer spices than Masala. 3:26 You mixed Cream with Date Molasses 3:49 It is called "Lgaimat" not "Gaimat". Lgaimat literally translates as "Mini Bites". Although looks like Gulab Jamun, it is less sweet and less moist. 4:37 If you complain about any fake goods I promise you the shop will be shut down in a heartbeat. UAE is very strict about counterfeit items and goods. 6:39 English is not the main language but it is probably the most popular. Officially Arabic is the main language. 6:57 There is an Arabic name for Coconut, it is called "Joz Al Hind" which literally translates as "Indian Nut". This is the official Arabic name in all dictionaries. 8:09 This incense is called "Bokhoor" which literally translates as "Steam" 8:17 The prayer you were going to is called "Friday Prayer". It only happens on Friday. The rest of the prayers everyday are without the speech the Imam gives. 8:30 Smelling good is more of a traditional aspect of celebrating Friday. You just need to be as clean as you can. All of this incense and Kandoora business is traditional. 11:05 This is called "Mashboos" which literally translates as "Pressed". It like Biryani but pressed to make it moister and flavourful. Hope this helps and keep up the great videos coming! 👍🏼😊🙏🏼

A lot of people think that people don't really know how Emaraties live and what they like to do. I live in Dubai, but we barely ever go to the new and famous places Dubai is known for. But we never find anything beneficial from the big malls or any of those new places.

I'm an Indian(from Kerala) living in the US, and I was embarrassed to admit to my middle eastern friends that I don't know much about Hindi movies. A lot of them have watched a lot of Hindi movies.
You have really immersed yourself in the culture. It's not even about you just wearing a dish dash because anyone can do that. You really get to know the people.
That Emirati Guy looks like Julius Dein the Magician!😂
I swear!!
@@aslamphullokhan9837 why?
Yeah man
I remember my father saying do you want to travel this summer or go to the desert. As a little kid I always said the desert. No matter how developed the country is. We are the happiest when we are in nature where our great grandfathers were. And I speak as a person who was raised there.
beautiful vlog man. I felt as if I was there with you and experiencing everythingl
finally! this is the best video i've seen that's closest to showing what Emirati's are actually like in forms of culture and what they like to do, what they eat and how they spend their weekends.

I am watching you from Germany(Berlin) and I was laughing when I saw a guy in 10:25 min, who had a "Böse Onkelz(Evil Uncles) T- Shirt while praying. They are a crazy german rock band, Ex Skinheads. So funny to see that lol

6:55 we actually have a word for coconut in Arabic and it is "jawz alhind" which translates to nuts of India and it is very common to use the Arabic word too ;D
Great video
Cuz you know... It's not India...It's Incredible India
wow... I felt transported to this exotic, surreal place. Great montage, the BA paid off. Many thanks.

You know that thin bread is dosa. Indian cuisine is India's greatest export. We call it anjero. I thought it was Somali until I shared some with a lady from Sri Lanka. She told me that it originates from India.
The Arabic word of coconut 🥥 in Arabic is Joz Al Hind not naren!! Naren in emirati dialect not in Arabic language
I'm an Emirati, and it's my first time hearing an Emirati calling Joz Al-Hind "naran".
@@Sara-nk3jc يعني هي هندية ؟؟؟ اعتقدت أنها إماراتية اذا ممكن الإجابة

Safiya M bruh people call it both nareel and joz al hind. She's clearly an Emirati 😂 her family name says it all
