Just the fact that you used the word "Noodlesnoots" I'm in love. Do you find that either one of their coats sheds more than the other?

The nickname seems to suit, doesn't it?
Mine are both light shedding, but as adults, the sable sheds more heavily than the brindle. I've heard from some other silken people too that the lighter colors seem to shed more.

@@wildmeadow_windhounds9004 I've seen the whippet on UA-cam named Snoot and thought that was funny but Noodlesnoots IS a great nickname for this breed hahaha. I'm soon to get a puppy from Allagante Silkens and they have so many different colors to choose from it's kind of driving me crazy. Thanks for your info! I watch all your vids as I'm waiting for my pup to be 12 weeks!

@@tannerannichiarico7255 Congratulations! I remember being in your position, waiting for Flynn. So exciting! Which litter are you getting a pup from?
My advice is focus on temperament. Have the breeder match you with the right pup based on your temperament preferences and what activities you're planning (show, agility, etc.). You will fall in love with the color. I have yet to see an ugly coat color on a silken.

So the second link is the only litter that has pictures currently but I went and met the first litter and checked out their house and property etc. Both litters come from proven good parents so really the only thing I absolutely want in a pup is a smaller male with a passive temperament and no big physical problems so that I can do plenty of hiking with him. There's plenty of unclaimed pups in the litters if you or someone you know needs another noodle in their life!
