At least it shows the Academy might learn from there mistakes for snubbing this film back in the day. It should have won Best Picture instead of The Greatest Show on Earth.

Well, I think that there's still one that tops them all, and wasn't nominated as well. It is also from one of the best films from 1985, namely The Breakfast Club. I'm of course referring to "(Don't You) Forget About Me" by the Simple Minds, written by Keith Forsey and Steve Schiff.

This reunion of the trio from Singing in the rain was lovely. Just look at them, even after all those years [33 to be exact], how gorgeous they look. Our Debbie girl never ever seemed to age, that's because she lived a good life and didn't break up people's homes. Gene Kelly too, despite the passage of time, looks very handsome and, yes, he's sporting a toupee. Donald O'Connor was the surprise. He's gained weight in this video and is far from being that skinny, baby-faced kid, he used to look like in the early 50's. As evidenced in this video, the presenters in this video [Debbie, Gene and Donald] were the real stars and not those who won or receive nominations at the 1986 Oscars.
