I want to go to Winnats Pass! That looks awesome! I want to go on the ledge walk thing! Kit, I am so jealous! England is a walker's paradise. Beautiful and entertaining as always! I think it's time for you to write and direct a werewolf horror film. Why are the roads in the UK so skinny?
AJ, this comment made my day. Thank you! 😘 x Anytime you want to visit, let me know. I'm sure we could both get some great content for our channels if you ever fancy a road trip. Skinny roads are how we roll. 😁 I think because they're all ancient, predating any form of machinery, and there often isn't much space to widen them. But it makes driving far more fun. 😉 x
Such beautiful nature / locations! The scene with your copilot 😂 (not sure how to spell his name). "I'm feeling let down" 🤣😂. Scary about the creature outside the van at night. Beautiful those mountains, even if it wasn't proper sunlight when you were there. Yay for getting a shot of the Devil's Arse sign! Aww about the traffic behind you wanting you to hurry, it does look beautiful! I struggle too walking up hills. Gorgeous view indeed! Nice you came back to the Snake Woodland area. I am not sure what the requirement is for something to be called a village/town/city.. and yes I can't imagine how people live in a village without a signal! In the Netherlands almost all places should have coverage by now.. (I think?). High five for chasing the bag! I would've done the same, I can't stand littering either (I remember us bonding over that in an earlier video). Yay for finally finding a place with a signal! The food looks delicious! How nice they were so lovely and didn't mind you parking on their carpark overnight! Oh wow that is a beautiful view of the valley! I look forward to see part 2 of this (though I'm quite behind with watching so it may be a little while until catching up more). Great video again!!
Hey, Gaia. 😘 So glad you enjoyed it. My co-pilot is spelled Jorge, and I have no idea how or why I came up with that name. The whole thing was improvised on the spot. Glad you liked him. He may pop-up in future videos. 😉 I hope you weren't too bothered by the werewolf. Out of context it may seem a bit unsettling. (It was my Halloween episode, published on the 31st October. I was just having fun making a mini horror movie in the middle of my travel vlog.) Lol. 🐺 And werewolves are, as you know, my running joke. Yes the whole area is very beautiful, and there's lots more to see there (caverns and so forth) so I'll be returning for more. It's hard to get good content as the weather gets increasingly cold, wet, and miserable. And as you know I have big mental health challenges. But filming continues as much as possible, spurred on by the kindness and encouragement of friends like you. Thank you. 😘 x
"I'm aroused" 😄 That's quite an unexpected reaction to a welcome sign lol! I've never seen a cattle grid on a road before. Wow, that drive through Winnats Pass was amazing, gorgeous mountains. Hahaha Jorge the inflatable co-pilot 🤣 Brilliant!! Hopefully hubby approves of your close relationship with Jorge 😄 Good that you went responsibly after the fleeing plastic bag. Holy shit those views! Such a cliffhanger! Can't wait for the next video.
Thank you, Jere. 😊 For a moment I thought you were telling me YOU were aroused! 🤣🤣🤣 Oh, yes, cattle grids are fairly common on rural English roads. Winnats Pass was amazing. Far better than my fixed GoPro was able to convey. And the light was bad. I hope to go back in the summer... with a drone! 😁 Jorge turned out to be a bit whiney. I may have to let him go. However, Hubby has been very supportive. 😉 That cliffhanger made me very happy! I love ending on a literal cliffhanger. Very satisfying. 😘x
@@kitsworld oh, thank you my friend. much like you, I've taken a few big leaps toward lifelong dreams this year. more exciting instagram posts to come. 😍 🥰 😘
I'm glad you enjoyed Jorge. He may pop-up occasionally in future videos. 😁😁 Yes, it is very beautiful, and the signal is terrible almost everywhere - except at the base of Mam Tor, for reasons that make no sense to me! lol
Oh, P.S. Something weird happened and your comment on episode 7 disappeared before I could reply. I don't want you to think I deleted it or anything. I can still see it in my email, but not in the YT comments. Weird...!?!? 🤔
Thanks, Ange.😘 I'm still hoping to head up to your neck of the woods sometime, so perhaps there's somewhere nice we could visit nearby as a collab, just for a daytrip? Let me know. 😊x
Thank you. 😊 Welcome aboard. If you see me out and about, give me a wave (but I have anxiety so please try not to scare me! lol) I see from your channel that you've been doing Van Life for a while now, so I'll be checking out your content for hints and tips. Aren't we lucky to have such a fabulous neck of the woods to call home. 😁
@@kitsworld Thanks for the reply. It would be great to bump into you and share some places. In the meantime safe travels. Ps do you have a Facebook site?
@@simplest563 Thank you. 😊 It would be fun to meet on the road sometime. Yes, I do have FB, but there's nothing there that you can't see here (plus it's out of date, as you just reminded me - thank you), and it's infested with people from China trying to get me to endorse their products. I'm basically too scared to go there anymore! 🤣
Thank you so much. 😊 It's so good to have people care about my health and enjoy my content. I spent too long as a hermit. 😊 I really appreciate your kind comments. Yes, the Peak District is gorgeous, and I even like the nail biting roads. Keeps me alert. 😘x
Hi Kit!!! OMG That hill trail looks terrifying idk how you did it!! OMG an inflatable co-pilot 😂reminds me of that movie Airplane w/ the autopilot- I actually did a drag number based on that 😂😂what a quaint English village!! I'm so scared of heights, I'm eager for part 2 to see if you make it out alive! OH!! Also I read Maggie's Grave for Halloween! Just discussed it in my October Wrap Up ✨
Hi Kevvie!!! 😍😘💕 I watched your October Wrap Up last night. Sorry I've been kind of absent from BookTube lately. Travel vlogs are crazy time-consuming and I've barely been watching any Tube at all. But Julie gave me a heads-up about it so I watched and enjoyed. Your videos are really delectable. I love your style. And I'm so glad you liked the book. 😊 Yes, the trail (it's called Giddy Heights) was super scary. But I felt very manly after doing it! 🤣 The inflatable co-pilot was a direct reference to Airplane - I'm glad you spotted it. So funny that you did a drag number based on it! 😍 I'll be commenting on your October Wrap Up as soon as possible. Sorry I've been so distracted. All the best. 😘x

Someone outside, check your gas tank. Blue John Jasper stone, Chatsworth? Did you buy proper boots for walking, your feet will thank you. Was that you putting boots on or someone else? Thank you, Happy Halloween.
Lol, my gas tank was the least of my worries that night. But yes, Halloween may have been somewhat on my mind. 😉 Happy Halloween to you too. 😊 Oh, proper boots would be lovely. But having been housebound for 20 years, I am lacking most things suitable for outdoor wear. A coat would be rather handy too. But all funds are stretched tight at present. 😊
Ah...lol... this was the episode that went out on Halloween. It's... possible... that the night terror scene may have been exaggerated, slightly, for lighthearted Halloween scares. 🎃 😉 But if you look closely at the window, as the camera pans past it at the end of that section, you may spot a werewolf peering in at me. 😉 Thank you for watching, Di. I hope seeing it out of context didn't cause any distress. I promise I was in no danger. (Unlike part two, in which I genuinely took my life in my hands with no exaggeration or trickery). 😘x
