I think the Pro Max is fine, but I think the Pro is the best, it is the best option this year, plus it is smaller which makes it more comfortable to carry or keep in your pocket.

The on screen controls for the camera are 10 times better than using that new button but apple is the type to remove the on-screen controls so as to force you to use the New button

As an android user, I have to say the 16 Pro is a great phone for anyone who hasn’t upgraded in a while even with the missing features. But… yeah, they should have learned from googles P7P mistake of not promising features that aren’t ready at launch.
