I think iPhone 16 pro is not a full day phone still. iPhone 16 pro max will last a full day. Apple really needs to give a bigger battery to their pro phones.
@@Upwards._ its actually currently an issue for most users, the software is not optimized for battery yet and apple is being super lazy about it. I own a 16 pro too and its almost the same battery as the phone i upgraded from
I got the 16 Pro Max a week after launch to replace my Pixel 8 Pro. One of the first things I noticed was how good the battery was compared to any other phone I've used (from like likes of OnePlus, Google, Samsung, etc). I've had days where I've gotten upwards of 12-14 hours of screen on time with more moderate usage (Pokemon GO, navigation, etc) with 5G/5G+. One of the best upgrades I've done in a while on the phone side of tech, and even compared to other Pro iPhones I've bought for my collection (like the 13 Pro, 14 Pro, or 15 Pro Max), I'll say the 16 Pro feels like a genuine upgrade for battery. The only downside though I feel is the size of the Pro Max. I love big phones but man after using the 14 Pro does having that smaller form factor of the Pro non Max is nice. Another thing I think is a downside right now is Apple AI, though it will get better in the upcoming months/years, and I hope it gets to a usable point instead of a useless gimmick
I think the phone did good for all the stuff you were doing and for most people the battery would hold up . I’m also a power user and can squeak out about 5-6 hours I hope they optimize the battery soon .
That's some crazy results I've seen so many different outcomes on these test vids i can go easily a full day to be left with about 25 percent in the evening but then again I don't have much apps phones on dark mode all the time depends on the user tbh
I personally get the ProMax in general and I have my iPhone 16 ProMax and mainly I get for the big screen and battery life and I also like the weight of it but I’m impressed with how well the regular smaller Pro did😊

Perhaps we should blame Apple’s intelligence for being a beta battery buzz kill? Instead, let’s look to Apple to create a phone battery which will last a week on a single charge! If a number of companies can do it with a watch, surely Apple has little excuse for not doing it with a phone?

IMO, with the specific usage that is INCREDIBLE battery life. If I had a day like that ahead of me, I'd set the phone to LTE and use LPM all day long.

I agree I had the 16 pro the battery life was not good luckily apple had a fourteen day exchange policy so I exchanged that for the 16 pro max
