00:00 💪 Most people only tap into about 30% of their actual limits; the human body and mind are capable of much more.
00:16 🌍 Scott Galloway mentions a recent incident where he was called out by Elon Musk on Twitter.
01:14 ❓ Galloway wonders why Musk responded to him now, given that he's made many comments on Tesla in the past.
01:41 🤝 It's fine to have powerful enemies, indicating you might be doing something right. Bullying less powerful people is not a good move.
02:21 🚀 While Elon Musk's work is pivotal, Galloway emphasizes the importance of emotional control and not getting sucked into petty disputes.
03:16 🤷‍♂ It's surprising how a person with so much influence like Musk can get pulled into minor controversies.
04:10 📣 Discussing the appeal of Elon's unfiltered approach, comparing it to figures like Donald Trump. This approach can be a successful marketing strategy.
05:22 🧐 People with great influence, like Elon Musk, have a responsibility as role models.
    [06:56](youtu.be/m
09:31 🎭 Many tech CEOs surround themselves with PR consultants to control their public image.
10:13 💬 Some individuals might use substances before expressing themselves online, which can be problematic.
10:38 ⚖ Public figures should consider the consequences before speaking against influential individuals.
11:19 🌟 Not all successful people are reckless; some maintain a lower profile and act responsibly.
12:13 🏛 The erosion of faith in institutions and constant blame-game is detrimental to society.
12:56 🤝 The U.S. Senate plays an essential role, passing significant legislation; it deserves respect.
13:52 ❤ It's essential to show grace and understanding in life, recognizing others' challenges.
15:03 🔓 Embracing vulnerability and being authentic about emotions can be powerful.
15:45 📸 Cherishing past memories and valuing growth is a part of authentic living.
16:14 🚫 Avoid negative behaviors, especially online, to set a better example for younger generations.
17:09 🗣 Being genuine about personal struggles can create deeper connections with others.
17:51 👥 There's value in opening up about personal demons, as many share similar feelings.
18:06 💡 It's easier to be clever than kind; showing discipline in responses is crucial.
18:19 🧠 Scott reflects on avoiding getting involved in negative mind space and hopes young people can differentiate between good and bad qualities in individuals.
19:00 💬 Emphasizes that many online trolls and negative commenters aren't typically successful in life.
19:28 📈 Scott shares advice from CEO Hamid Mogadam that the best revenge is to lead a good life.
20:38 ❤ Advocates for leading a life filled with love, accomplishments, and positive contributions as a form of 'revenge' against detractors.
21:19 🌟 Highlights the idea that having a good life is the best defense against critics and emphasizes focusing on self-improvement.
21:47 🌍 Praises leaders like Angela Merkel for showing grace and restraint on a global platform.
23:14 🔗 Discusses the value of restraint and the rarity of this quality in today's world.
24:08 ⚔ Delves into the concept of true warriors who exercise restraint and the importance of physical and mental strength.
24:49 🏃 Talks about physical fitness and the responsibility one has towards their body, arguing against the body positivity movement.

"a certain amount of grace." the effects of ageing as are evident in your word choice. grace, empathy, thinking of others and questioning yourself are the effects of the older brain. which is wonderful. your approaching the status of homo sapiens. you are able to supress the fight flight response and engage your social and cognitive assets. when young, we "react" when older, we begin to slow down and think. fortunately you are a humanist and demonstrate a plasticl, agile brain, and fewer hormones.

22:30 - I don't celebrate Angela Merkel as a role model. She single handedly helped Germany go from the 4th largest economy to its current state of demise. Manufacturing is what drove this country and put Europe on their shoulders. She knew solar and wind couldn't provide enough energy to power homes in Deutschland while turning off all nuclear power plants. She is a scientist who screwed her own population. I'm thrilled I don't live there because of her decisions as a leader. Can a politician of her statue admit they were wrong? That's rhetorical. No. This country is forced to burn more coal and wood pellets today than before, hence are dirtier with a larger carbon footprint. There are many factors at play (mass immigration to EU from Syria, Africa and Afghanistan) but she was in charge for 19 years. 2 million refugees moved in during her tenure. It appears to be too many people to support. I have to admit Trump was right about relying on cheap Russian power. 2023 doesn't lie. Hopefully people realize she made some poor decisions that haunt the country today even though she gave nice yearly Christmas speeches.

38:35, cross cultural and across time. Women judged by their looks, men judged by their status. It is human nature we don't even realize we do it. But go to any city down to untouched tribes in the amazon. You could make an argument that different society define beauty and status differently.

Yes, it felt imbalanced, too much time was spent on body strength - it seems to matter a lot to Scott, it's likely that his challenge is or will be age and the loss of physical power (I am not saying I don't understand him). Nevertheless I agree with both of them that it's important to be in good physical shape, good for the individual, good for the nation. I liked Ryan's point that it's a win to put on your running shoes, every time. Discipline can be a rewarding virtue. Amongst many other things sports increases the overall share of things you are in control of, and this may add satisfaction to your life. PS: I practice martial arts, I really love it but I ... NEVER ... think I want to be able to kill everyone in the room)
