Man I enjoyed so much all the wrestling references lol!🤣 Anyway I liked Masked Mutilator more than I should have. Good review and cool video Mike!👉🙂👈
Sorry, but what kind of a ring name is "Brick Bronsky"? Instant jobberdom. The name of his tag team partner was "Dashing Doug Flex", also in this movie (Doug Yasinsky). "Brick 'n' Flex"... _Oh my._ No, they actually called themselves the "Brat Pack", so basically a lesser permutation of the "Hollywood Blondes" etc. faux-movie-star-themed gimmicks. Because the actors in that group in Hollwood had only all been around for ten years in the mid-'90s. That's why I love '80s and '90s pro wrestling. Always five or ten years behind, pop-culturally. Ten to fifteen if it was a Southern cousinhumper territory. "George Ringo, the Wrestling Beatle" did it so much better in the 1960s. He was riding right on top of the "British Invasion" wave in 1964. Too bad he was almost old enough to be George Harrison's or Ringo Starr's father, he had been a wrestler since 1948... So if you ever wonder why almost all wrestlers in WWE and AEW still look like members of shitty Nü Metal bands and Hip Hop groups from the '90 and '00s or have haircuts that haven't been hip in ten years... Same reason why Wayne Farris becam "The Honky Tonk Man" half a decade after Elvis had croaked on the toilet.
I remember seeing Brick B wrestle on cable back in the day. You mentioned Brian Pillman , the guy that got his face smashed reminded me of him at first glance
It was obvious as hell who it was. Maybe use a different actor in silhouette, while wearing the mask than the one playing that character. Otherwise if he's the only one with that exact physique in the cast, you just gave away whose the villain! Oops! Also, an 8mm reference? Nicely done, Mike. Nicholas Cage and his Ford Taurus would be proud. But yeah, seems in the end we have a new masked.... Wait! Is that the Brooklyn Brawler?! Was not expecting that swerve ending. Nicely done.
Thanks so much for covering our film that I exec produced and co-wrote with Ed Polgardy ("The Wretched" and other horror films). One minor correction: The film was stored in my basement, not Brick Bronsky's who was my personal management client.

🎵
Oh I seem to Die
When I’m around you, Baby
I feel like Snooka Superfly
You make my heartbeat subside
You’re Makin me Die
You so crazy, Baby
Can’t breathe when I’m with you
Feelin my lungs are compressed
The very thought of you
Makes me deathly stressed
I’d like to want to see you
But my face in the mat is so pressed
I guess I want to not be feelin so bad
All I want is
Spandex tights with you there inside em
All Night Pile Drivin Again and again
You know you’re makin my spine feel so bad
You so crazy, Baby
(Crazy Like you got rabies, Baby)

We have a new Weird Al folks, and he's great!🤩
@@nickdirienzo2849That’s very kind of you, Thank you ✌️😊
Comment of the week real chart topper
This movie looks like a direct to video film it's like they are making up dialogue as they go along
I have this movie but had completely forgotten about it. How could I forget about wrestling star turned action hero Brick Bronsky. Brick also appeared in Femme Fontain:Killer Babe For The CIA, Class Of Nuke'em High 3, etc. Definitely wrestling and horror mix. Remember El Santo's horror/wrestling movies? Man I enjoyed so much all the wrestling references lol!🤣 Anyway I liked Masked Mutilator more than I should have. Good review and cool video Mike!👉🙂👈
Thanks Hector!

We had 3 different people wearing the Mask in the movie lol Thank you for the kind comments. I played Jake in the movie
Your episodes are 1 of the greatest things on planet earth. Yoouu freakin' ROCK, Mike!
Thanx a million 4 over a million laughs!!!
any time!
Awesome review of "The Masked Mutilator", the wrestling references are really good. Great video!
Thanks so much for covering our film that I exec produced and co-wrote with Ed Polgardy ("The Wretched" and other horror films). One minor correction: The film was stored in my basement, not Brick Bronsky's who was my personal management client.
Hey thank you! and thank you for clarifying that. Not sure how I screwed that up, but my apologies.
And thank you for this film. I really do adore it.
Looks like a fun, little movie. And excellent JR impressions, Mike.
Tip of the Hat Sir, this is one I had not heard of before. Excellent work on this and I can't wait till next week. Peace.
Hopefully, this is in the spirit of René Cardona!
A psycho luchador movie? Kind of surprised I've heard of such a ridiculous concept. Looks like JR is going to be working overtime.
There's also 2009's Wrestlemaniac.
8mm is one of my favorite movies
5:54 Does anybody remember the "Nacho-Man" from WWF ? If you do, guess what? YOU'RE OLD! 😁
Yes I do, and yes I am.
VERY GOOD JOB HG 🤓!!. .. CURLS FOR THE GIRLS, LIGHT WT BABBAAY!! GREAT REFERENCE 👍
THIS IS WORTH A 2ND / 3RD WATCH...WATCHED IT FEW YRS AGO- *TUBI LOVED IT BEING A FORMER WRESTLING FAN & WEIGHT TRAINER !! STONE COLD IN '20 - GIVE ME A HELL YEAH TO THE Empty ARENA 😅 - A LEGENDARY MOMENT IN WRASSSSLIN HISTORY 😂. BRON PASSING A BUMMER from the "illness"
When u consider themes such as Halloween Havoc, the Oddities team, or even Waylon Mercy, u would think there would be more wrestling theme horror films. Imagine the potential. Hope u give "Wrestlemaniac" a review too!
One of these days.
A wrestling horror movie? Its your signature move.
Sorry not a tables ladders and chair match so that switchblade is a disqualification.
A two barf bag rating? Oh come on this is wrestling. It's not over till you count three barf bags.
