I swear to God that if The Wrestler is not #1, I'm gonna lose my mind.
Good.
nacho libre !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Wrestler was more of a drama involving an aged professional wrestler as opposed to a wrestling movie.
Ready to Rumble #1 real wrestleing fans know this
Go ahead
I'm Adam from Whatcult...oh wait...wrong channel
LMAO
Support WrestleTalk. Give us a subscribe. This is Oli Davis
😂😂
Ur the man. Tell me bro, how the F*%# can you put VISION QUEST in the “honorable mentions” while ranking WIN WIN??!?🤬🤬
I thought it was top 10 wrestling moves
PrettyBitch I know :(
PrettyBitch that would be sick
We need this now!
This could be TWO videos or more. Top 10 wrestling moves. Top 10 Finishers. etc .
me too
"Top 10 WWE Documentaries" sounds like a list I would watch immediately.
No. 1: Undertaker - The Last Ride
Apollyon the Destroyer The Last Ride is by far #1. Monday night Wars is decent, WWE24, the episodes on Ric Flair, Edge, and Daniel Bryan.
@@apollyonthedestroyer4107 McMahon Documentary which isn’t on the network 🧐
2:12 he is also a former WCW world champion. Let that sink in.
He is currently a wrestler. Let THAT sink in
The honorable mention Body Slam did a lot of filming in my hometown. The scene at the hospital was just down the street from my house. My friends and I got to be in the audience of some of the wrestling scenes as extras. Roddy Piper came out and introduced himself and took questions. It was cool.
Mine's "Body Slam", "No Holds Barred", & "Beyond The Mat"!
Man, this makes me want to see Wrestling With Shadows again. The amount of backstage and behind the scenes stuff you get to see leading up to and including the Montreal Screw Job is insane!!
Somebody show this list to Wrestling With Wregret
Yeah.....that review will be great
I hope Brian finds out
Luis Arenas me too
Yeah
+Crazy Kidd1956 any review by Zane is always good
Definitely agree with The Wrestler. That movie was magic to any wrestling fan. It really drives home what these guys go through, and what it's like to be "past your prime", having previously thought yourself immortal.
To put it simply, it's pretty telling about the accuracy of the portrayal, when it LITERALLY brought tears to so many of the legends of the WWE, at the premiere.
Thank God for #1. One of the best films of the past few decades.
Mostly 21. Century
And when WWE legends saw 'The Wrestler' many of them were in tears as they knew what exactly what it feels like
Wrestling is not a movie, but a novel...
"The Wrestler" and "Foxcatcher" better be 1-2.
Thank you.
only logical choice isnt it
i didnt even watch it yet and say the same thing
thw better have vision quest
The Wrestler was a horrible movie
The wrestler was obvious winner. Resurrection of Jake the Snake was really good too.
omg tysm I was searching for the name 'nacho libre'
All I remembered is watching this in my childhood
The one and only, staring Henry Winkler as the guy (in the movie world) who creates characters in wrestling. One of my favorite movies
I know they're documentaries, but beyond the mat and the resurrection of jake the jake are really good
1. Ready To Rumble
2. Nacho Libre
I loved Ready To Rumble so much. When I saw that it was free to watch on UA-cam i watched it two times in a row.
I feel like vision quest should be more than an honorable mention.
In Mexico we use to have a complete genre of wrestlers. The popularity peak was in the 60's and got figures like El Santo, Blue Demon and Mil Mascaras. The movies were like B explotation films, mostly horror and science fiction related, have a lot of cliche monsters like aliens, vampires, werewolves, mumies... all that shit. Although wasn't a genre known by his quality spawm a huge industry with dozens of films and a strong following to this day.
Adam Blampied would disagree with number 8
Surprised Legendary Starring John Cena didn't even get an honorable mention. It's a story about wrestling
How to make money on youtube
1: Have opinions
2: Put them into list format
3: No, that's it
Scott K 4. Must be over 10 minutes
The Masked Saint is a good wrestling film, it even has the late great Rowdy Roddy Piper in it. It's about a Preacher who retires from wrestling but picks it back up again to keep his church going, and by night he does some vigilante work. Last time I checked it was on Netflix.
I friggen love Wrestling With Shadows!!!! Give it Up to Bret "The Hitman" Hart on defeating prostate cancer👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 We Love You Hitman!
Had to click just to find out if there were 10 wrestling movies.
Ready to Rumble also features a cameo by John Cena...
1:54 isn’t that Rey Mysterio with the blonde hair and the camo outfit? I think the tattoos, his face and his wrestling style match.
Thats him my.friend
When watching The Wrestler, i feel like Randy "The Ram" Robinson is a real wrestling character from the 1980's, not "just" a character in a movie. Hardest part of the movies is the autograph signing scene, where you can see how they sacrifised their bodies to entertain their fans, and only very few people shows up to meet them. That movie is a true masterpiece.
The wrestler was a amazing movie and I'm not a wrestling fan but Mickey Rourke was absolutely awesome in it, he is one of my favorite actors even though he has been through the ringer and looks totally different after the bad plastic surgery he had still an amazing actor!! My favorite movie of his is Harley Davidson and the Marlboro man! Great movie
I'm glad that some of my favorites made the list as well as honorable mentions, but no love for The One and Only of Heroes of World Class?
Vision Quest was an amazing movie and inspired me to join my high school wrestling team freshman year. It deserved more than a honorable mention. Good soundtrack as well. #LunaticFringe
at the end of every wresting season my coach makes us watch it
I agree with the many comments below that "Vision Quest" definitely should have made this list instead of just getting a last second honorable mention. "Legendary" was pretty damn good as well, and it didn't even get an honorable mention. Aside from "Foxcatcher", it would have been more honest if they had just called this Top 10 Best Pro Wrestling Movies and created an entirely separate list for the others.
The Masked Saint belonged on this list. An underrated biopic based on The Saint, a wrestler who later became a priest, this film was both enthralling to me as a wrestling fan, but it was the last known film to star the late, great WWE Hall of Famer, Rowdy Roddy Piper #RIP
I figured Ready to Rumble had to be on the list. That's my personal favorite.
Same still watch it i miss wcw
Grunt! A wrestling movie. Is by far my favorite. Other greats that didn't make the list, backyard dogs, monster brawl, wrestlemaniac, zombie king and the legion of doom, and legendary!
The Resurrection of Jake the Snake was an AWESOME movie
You know you need to lower your expectations when no holds barred is on a list of GOOD things.
OneBigBugga I know, being that it's one of the worst movies I've ever watched. All of a sudden it's on a best list!!! Lol
el konan el con anemia! 😂 is my favorite line of all in the movie of nachoooooooooouuuuu..........
Wrestling is fake? O wait, So are TV shows and movies. Duuuuurrrrr!
And most people…
And your point is?
STAND YOUR GROUND! If you can't see the obvious point, Their is no point in explaining it to you bud.
Stand your ground! It can just be as good as good as a movie or tv show
wrestling isnt fake. only pro wrestling is lmao clown
Ready to Rumble better be on here.
You missed Body Slam with Roddy Piper. It was the rock n wrestling movie that showed a big part of the wrestling of the late 1980's
On No Holds Barred, it was about a promoter trying to get Rip to go into his company
Ressurection of jake the snake was amazing. Just amazing
Top 10 Movies that Parody the Alien Chestbuster scene.
Vision Quest belonged in the Top 10... easily. Certainly ahead of "No Holds Barred."
you should make a top 10 video about the best UA-cam content
I read Top 10 Best Wrestling MOVES! What a bummer!
Real WRASSLING
for South Park fans
nacho libre is one of jack black's best, hands down
Plz do best Wrestling Documentaries next!
5:20 Freya Tormenta also inspiring King from Tekken 1 and Tekken 2..
fun little fact: in the gym scene in Ready to Rumble you can see John Cena in the background
My Favorite will always be "Ready to Rumble" loved that movie
Do top ten wrestling moves next. That's what I thought the title was when I first saw it.
Dang, that is one intense face Hogan’s making in the thumbnail.
Mad Bull (1977)With Alex Karris was a great Wrestling Movie,One,My faves is"The One and Only" 1978 with Henry Winkler, great movie."TakeDown' with Lorenzo Lamas,High School Wrestling movie,1979,I think you missed it on your list,I think Paradise Alley should have made the list even though mentioned,The 70s had some really good Wrestling Movies,
Here are my picks for top 10 best Wrestling movies (I'm only including pro wrestling so that means no amateur wrestling films, though I do recommend vision quest.)
10) The Wrestler (from the 1970's, not the one you are thinking. I will get to that)
9) bodyslam
8) Ready to Rumble
7) Requiem of a heavyweight
6) Nacho Libra
5) Wrestlers .vs. Zombies (don't question, just look for it)
4) Bret Hart: Wrestling with Shadows (yes, the film documenting the events leading to the Montreal Screw Job)
3) The Wrestler (the one with Micky Rourck)(i think I spelled his name right)
2) Beyond the Mat
1) The resurrection of Jake the snake Roberts
Man on the Moon gets an Honorable Mention even though it has more to do with Andy Kauffman's life than his short stint as a wrestler, but he did play a part in the wrestling community. A very very small part, and I am not sure if what he did should is considered wrestling. Though Jim Ross and Jerry the king Lawler are in it.
I love most of these films
Hard to take this seriously with Robert Aldrich's classic All the Marbles/California Dolls missing from the list .
I thought this was another whatculture wwe video on my home page! woah
Missing "the one and only" starring Henry Winkler and directed by Carl Reiner. Very funny and touching movie!
READY TO RUMBLE is definitely one of my favorite movies
I think VisionQuest should be ahead of a few on your list:)
One of my favorite wrestling movies are RUSSEL MADNESS
Finally WatchMojo got some things right. The Wrestler definitely belongs at #1. I would have put Nacho Libre higher though. Mohamad Ali was a huge wrestling fan, he got his mic skills after watching Gorgeous George.
Jake "The Snake" was the guy that made me love wrestling
Watch Mojo had to break its own rules to feature him. The narrator said: "We've also left out documentaries released by the WWE, since they're in another weight class."
Vision Quest is number 1 in my book. Watch mojo... You blew it!!
I missed black mask 2 so good!
Please do top 10 on Mickey Rourke!
Ready to rumble is my favorite one
My favorite wrestling movie of all time is Bodyslam.
I thought you said no documentaries or amateur wrestling movies
And how the hell is Body Slam and Vision Quest jus Honorable Mentioned
They said no WWE released documentaries and both amateur and professional wrestling movies were eligible.
After seeing Iron Claw its my favorite wrestling movie of all time
Awesome thumbnail
Learning
Vision Quest was a great movie. Should be somewhere in the top 3 AT LEAST!!!
How could Takedown not be on this list. It had a young Lorenzo Lamas and a Maureen McCormick, not to mention Edward Herrman.
I heard Half Nelson with Ryan Gosling was a good one
THIS IS THE BEST LIST EVER!!! (look at the profile pic)
You forgot Legendary and The Hammer: the story of Matt the Hammer Hammil!
I am surprised no women's pro wrestling movies like American Angels: Baptism of Blood or All the Marbles with Peter Falk did not get mentioned
Justin Bernard were can i watch it ?
You could could try like Amazon or even Ebay for DVD/VHS
To every wrestler....THANK YOU..
Plz tell me everyone knows who Cassius Clay is?(without googling it)
Why u want to be like whatculture
I think someone forgot to take their medicine and its because of the thumbnail that this dude looks like he's gonna explode
VISION QUEST just an honorable mention?
Failure!
Fully.
where is the "top 10 Hulk Hogan moments"-video? can't find it anywhere...
probably shouldve done two seperate lists, Amateur wrestling movies and Pro Wrestling/ssports entertainment movies
Another one to check out is "Hammerhead Jones".
When I went on this video, I thought it was going to show ROCKY, but half way the video I realised that's a boxing movie
The 2007 Canadian film Kayfabe should have been on the list! It's a good underrated film.
I don't really give a fuck about wrestling, but The Wrestler was a damn great movie.
How about when he came out to "Sweet child O mine!!!"
Good yes. Great no.
Seen all the top five. Haven't seen and don't care to see the bottom five. Pretty accurate list overall.
Wow, surprised All The Marbles wasn't on here
"Knucklehead" didn't even make the cut?!?! That movie was hilarious
My favorite was CM Punk fighting in the UFC.
more wrestling lists please!
