For example colored planks were gonna be in the game at one point, and also the quiver was teased to return in 1.9 with new inventory slots and everything.
There used to be a series on UA-cam called "the bedrock angel" it was like the yogscasts "shadows of israphel" series and had a decent amount of episodes, I only remember the first video being a showcase of creative mode because it came out around that time and he eventually dug straight down to bedrock and broke it, he then fell into a dark room made from bedrock and saw some guy with a skin on pretending to be the so called bedrock angel I have looked all over and couldn't even find a single mention of this series on the internet or anybody that remembers it
I remember that and watched it as a kid too lol. I think the "bedrock angel" was just a girl skin with red eyes or something. It was called "The Daylight Owl" series. I briefly was into mythology as a kid around 2013 and read somewhere that owl's were often omens of evil or death and it was bad luck to see them out in the daytime. Further googling led me to the series by Deathmatch Gaming, and I probably used it as inspiration when I used my one free gamertag change, TentacledOwl99 to TheD4Ylight0wl. From the looks of it, views petered out hard across the three seasons from hundred thousands to only thousands, and it ended late 2018. So the series is still here, the character was called the daylight owl, the room was actually just stone and vines, and I also completely forgot about it until you commented this!

I have my own version of Minecraft lost media regarding a survival map, but all I remember was that the map was made somewhere around 2014-2017, and was set on an island surrounded by a huge jungle, the spawn was in the middle of the jungle and it had rivers running through it surrounded by tall trees, an old rope bridge that spanned over a sinkhole in the jungle, a giant ancient gate in the middle with a dungeon inside and a grassy roof that was a garden, and mountain ranges with waterfalls that lead to a giant river and a giant stone tower on an island in said river, the entire island was also surrounded by a giant circular waterfall like the one in the Battlefield stage in Smash. I remembered it after 2 years because i played a minecraft world where my armor stands started to act weird. It was made in 2020, 2021 or 2022.

there's one minecraft series that i remember watching back then. it was about a dude playing minecraft, but when they went to sleep, they were somehow outside of their player's body, and it would never wake up. one scene i remember is that there's this giant slime thing attacking the guy, and out of nowhere, he gets a shotgun and looks back at the slime monster who roars really loud. i also think i remember there being a really deep hole in the center of the map, and the map itself was small and flat.
I was lucky enough to play Minecraft 1.0 release candidate 1, but afaik it only existed for less than an hour. I remember a youtuber years ago that made a video showing off a huge mansion including an entire garden grounds and backyard. Been trying to find it for years but i havent been able to. I remember being sad when he released a vid of him blowing up that same mansion
Not mentioned in the video. I remember around 2012 seeing a video uploaded to C418's channel, playing a really early version of Classic where he entered a (wooden?) block building with various rooms. IIRC, he when to different levels. Each level would play different music until he reaches the roof. None of them are used in Minecraft but some (or all) may have been C418's own music. After being on top of the roof, he looks around and walks out, falling into a pit. It then cuts to some text saying something like "Mushrooms and tall grass coming soon".
everyone always sleeps on Obligatory Cat Video - a video uploaded by c418 somewhere between 2009 and 2012 that depicted the very cat that voiced the ghasts
There was a skyblock player back in 2014 named LetsPlayWilly and I remember watching all his stuff, but when I looked him up again months ago it seems all his minecraft videos have been deleted/privated.
The screenshot at chapter 6 is from a german UA-camr called nameMethos who built many piston houses back then, the one in the photo being a cigarette box.

VideoGamsCanada's entire 40 episode long Minecraft let's play series has been lost since January 8, 2021. We can never return to Pac Man Island. We will never get to hear about Denis' proposed Prometheus-themed base. We will never again get to experience the epic scale of the Twizzler, or the ugly beauty of the BIG STRIPE. We will never get to hang out at the swick hang zone. TW? "You're on top of a mountain? You dug on top of a mountain!" "No wonder it took so long." "Why'd you build it so high? We're already on top of a mountain, and then you built THIS." Time moves on, R-Train don't care, and the legend of Denis and Rory will fade even further into obscurity. I've never even seen VideoGamsCanada mentioned in any lost media videos. Good luck finding the unfindable.
I got kinda irked at nitpicky details of your recounting of Copeland’s stream, but then I reminded myself that not everyone spent 4 hours researching herobrine last night
I have my own Minecraft Lost Media where it is simply an apk where you watch videos of a guy creating a mansion. It was on youtube but both the apk and the videos were deleted
Lost media is always a fascinating topic and seeing Minecraft's own form of it is quite unique compared to other forms of it. Also I was wondering: Where are the sound effects used in this video from? Like the transition screens and the intro screen to the video. I ask because another channel I watch uses them and they add a really nice atmosphere and its been bugging me for a while that I can't find the source of them.
Please, Please find the Turkish video that takes place in End Island next to Çanakkale. Between in 2015-2017 I've been looking for years and I still haven't found the first Minecraft video I watched
That first clip showing the Eaglecraft browser version.. I use that all the time at school because it’s unblocked and on school chromebooks we are not allowed to download the real version.. One of my friends was playing it.. It was in version 1.5.2 since that’s the most recent working version on the site.. I was so pissed when he asked me “Are diamonds even in this version”.. He was at y level 53
You know what I like about this video? You get to the point. Not to mention, you don't try to turn lost media in to some pseudo-horror with cheesy music and narration. Solid content, man. Thoroughly enjoyed.
In the intro of the video, What was the Scooby Doo game? I have been looking for a old Scooby Doo game for years now, but I have absolutely nothing. That game in the intro feels so familiar it might be it.

I swear there was also a video where somebody made a calculator in Minecraft classic out of custom server command blocks, but that video was long lost. I remember not finding it years ago, so I guess it was considered lost media even for back then.
there's one minecraft series that i remember watching back then. it was about a dude playing minecraft, but when they went to sleep, they were somehow outside of their player's body, and it would never wake up.
one scene i remember is that there's this giant slime thing attacking the guy, and out of nowhere, he gets a shotgun and looks back at the slime monster who roars really loud.
i also think i remember there being a really deep hole in the center of the map, and the map itself was small and flat.
I was lucky enough to play Minecraft 1.0 release candidate 1, but afaik it only existed for less than an hour. The tools broke after two or three uses because Dinnerbone was testing tool breaking sounds and forgot to change it back. So he did and Jeb uploaded MC 1.0 rc2 which was available on the launcher for a while.
I remember watching polish Minecraft videos back in 2010~2012, I actually tried an absurd amount of times to find them years later but
without the title, YT name or at least something that stood out.
All I have is just ultra low quality recordings I took of said videos as a kid
3008 soundtrack goes hard 🔥🔥
dude really put 3008 music in the background, expecting me not to cry. it’s been so long since i played it on roblox and even if id play it now, i wouldn’t be able to recreate the fun times and nostalgia i had playing it.
i remember watching a Minecraft iceberg with footage of a fragment of the original stream. It wasn't long ago, it was around 2 years ago I watched that vide
UA-cam finally recommends good content, love the video
“wooo itss me herobrine like the video NOW!” 💀
I remember a youtuber years ago that made a video showing off a huge mansion including an entire garden grounds and backyard. Been trying to find it for years but i havent been able to. I remember being sad when he released a vid of him blowing up that same mansion
HELLO? Why is nobody talking abt the way this vid is edited. It's so internetcore i love it 🎀
this herobrine jumpscare was criminal.
It then cuts to some text saying something like "Mushrooms and tall grass coming soon".
learning that skydoesminecraft was contracted to do an anti-smoking PSA by the FDA is a new fact that im going to inflict upon people now
For anyone, i'm pretty sure the intro music is the 3008 roblox game soundtrack "friday"
everyone always sleeps on Obligatory Cat Video - a video uploaded by c418 somewhere between 2009 and 2012 that depicted the very cat that voiced the ghasts
Brocraft stream has been found
No idea what this guy was talking about
That scooby doo flash game at the start came out of nowhere and hit me hard… so much nostalgia
Chickens need HUGS
Hey, I was born in the late 2000s yet Stampy was still a major part of my childhood!
There was a skyblock player back in 2014 named LetsPlayWilly and I remember watching all his stuff, but when I looked him up again months ago it seems all his minecraft videos have been deleted/privated.
I refuse to believe this game isnt two years old, and even more so that people who were kids playing it are now adults
Soooo. I want more. I need more. I could genuinely watch a whole ass 1hr video of MC lost media.
“Minecraft Lost Media”
*Proceeds to play 3008 theme from roblox*
i remember some alpha minecraft water rollercoaster video with upbeat music. wish i found it again
Music choice for this video was perfect
1:00 I can't believe none of you know the older video - Cave game tech test
Pretty sure he's strictly talking about videos not made by notch
No shit the creator has the oldest video... hes obviously talking about fan-made videos
Anyone saw that split second herobrine thingy? 3:31
Quick update on the Copeland Herbine stream it was actually recently found surprisingly enough
no way bro put the infinite ikea music, dude that actually caught me off guard
Its nice seeing how the copeland stream has since been found.
1:40 Context
The screenshot at chapter 6 is from a german UA-camr called nameMethos who built many piston houses back then, the one in the photo being a cigarette box.
wow I never knew stampy deleted the first 31 episodes. I remember very clearly watching some of those when I was younger
The first track played is so on the tip of my tongue but like, I can't for certain remember what I heard it from
so where is this sample.mp3 track? i cant seem to find anything on it
vocaroo.com/11yzYSQKHUgS
I saw that original Herobrine video, I can't belive it's nost now... I WAS THERE
I find it interesting that I was watching Minecraft stuff 10 years ago, granted it was all skydoesminecraft and hungry games but now I'm watching more "mature" or atleast less childish content
i had no idea the early stampy videos were lost media at one point i was born in the early 2000s so me and all my friends were obsessed with stampy as kids and one my friends used to say she watched the early stampy videos under her blankets with the volume on 1 so her mom wouldn’t hear the swearing 😭
*1:15** oh my lord. i truly miss 2009 youtube so muchs.*
I loved playing mInecraft classic online on the Minecraft's site over 12 years ago... cool memories.
"3008 - Friday Theme" is the background song in the first one
I love the pvz music in the background :)
You dug on top of a mountain!"
"No wonder it took so long."
"Why'd you build it so high? We're already on top of a mountain, and then you built THIS."
Time moves on, R-Train don't care, and the legend of Denis and Rory will fade even further into obscurity.
I've never even seen VideoGamsCanada mentioned in any lost media videos.
Good luck finding the unfindable.
another great video as usual
Oh also, about the copeland stream, theres a few new screenshots that were found
saw thing on my recommended. good video!!!!
I got kinda irked at nitpicky details of your recounting of Copeland’s stream, but then I reminded myself that not everyone spent 4 hours researching herobrine last night
....
3:31 herobrine says to like the video
I'd recognize the Coolvetica font anywhere. It's such a nice font.
4:22 i mean luckly we have wayback machine to see the old livestream
the editing is super high quality! you got urself a sub.
For anyone who wants to know the background music name at the start, it's called Friday Theme.
So many of old Stampy videos are gone from his Main channels even some world tour ones pretty sure
This is actually interesting
I have my own Minecraft Lost Media where it is simply an apk where you watch videos of a guy creating a mansion. It was on youtube but both the apk and the videos were deleted
people trying to make minecraft scary reminds me of that meme of spongebob going over the comically small roller coaster drop 💀
thanks for reminding me i have been on youtube all night.
i should go to bed
Great video man
Lost media is always a fascinating topic and seeing Minecraft's own form of it is quite unique compared to other forms of it.
Also I was wondering: Where are the sound effects used in this video from? Like the transition screens and the intro screen to the video. I ask because another channel I watch uses them and they add a really nice atmosphere and its been bugging me for a while that I can't find the source of them.
3:31 "Wooo it's me Herobrine, like the video NOW!"
Please, Please find the Turkish video that takes place in End Island next to Çanakkale. Between in 2015-2017
I've been looking for years and I still haven't found the first Minecraft video I watched
damn he used a song called No smoking on a part with anti smoking thing.
Also fire vid! W ngl
Sky was gonna make a video about keeping your hands off of cigs but he couldnt keep his hands off of his gf
He was at y level 53
i like the APM music in the background
You know what I like about this video? You get to the point. Not to mention, you don't try to turn lost media in to some pseudo-horror with cheesy music and narration. Solid content, man. Thoroughly enjoyed.
youre very underrated, loved this video keep it up
In the intro of the video, What was the Scooby Doo game? I have been looking for a old Scooby Doo game for years now, but I have absolutely nothing. That game in the intro feels so familiar it might be it.
