This was actually very cool! Not clickbait. If it comes from the writer, and it's stuff he would have otherwise written, then this is more or less canon information. Very neat
Oh, someone asked about the disappearance of Ackerman's power after the disappearance of the Titans' power. I'm glad I'm not the only one who asked that question (and answered it correctly, by the way). Because I've never heard anyone anywhere ask that question.
Damn you really gotta feel bad for the rumbling titans x.x. imagine waking up disoriented and naked in a different time period and then you suddenly see a large crowd of people in weird clothes speaking in a strange dialect coming towards you with a lynch mob. You know they had to have been crapping themselves in fear Edit: I am honestly relieved that Mikasa had got the chance to be a normal girl at the end of it all.b But was it ever explained HOW exactly the Ackerman lineage came to be exactly? Bioweaponry similar to Captain America? breeding with titan shifters or other races until they got the Ackerman gene? I'm very curious
I think they said it somewhat explicitly at some point, but I could be wrong: The Ackermans were Eldians who were altered by the founding Titan’s power to create bodyguards for whoever at the time had that power. At some point the Ackermans became disillusioned with the king, and left to do their own thing. It’s fair to assume that they weren’t affected by the king’s memory erasure because what use would an elite guard be without knowing the state of things
Given the Ackerman Clan were by products of Titan science, it would make sense their powers would disappear. Of all the conversations Eren had, Reiner would've been an interesting one.
Lol I've BEEN saying Annie would beat Mikasa in that fight if she didn't have her Ackerman powers (otherwise they'd tie) but no one wanted to believe it, now we got confirmation 💀
This whole time I thought the wall titans weren't originally humans. Now I want to know how the walls were built and how King Fritz turned them into a stationary wall of colossal titans.
Yeah. It is also kind of interesting that there were tens of millions of them. So I guess when they turned back into humans, they supplemented the remaining 20% of humanity, maybe even doubling it. If they were not all killed...
Eren would probably enlist in the military or be somebody involved with nature (like a park ranger, or a Search & Rescue team member). If Eren stayed in and ranked up to Gunny or 1stSgt, he'd be the type to cut his troops loose early on Fridays because he values their freedom.
There's a bit of a lack of logic in the response from Mikasa. The Ackermans, okay, had greater strength, better reaction time, maybe even some fighting sense, but Mikasa trained not only as a cadet but also on her own. It's something that's in your head, in your muscle memory. It can't just evaporate like that. Even if the power of the Titans, and therefore the power of the Ackermans, ceases to have any effect, it does not mean that everything could have disappeared.
There's her training and the Ackermans having prior memories with that skill and knowledge that's what was told initially she as a child knew how to kill an adult person with one strike and she excelled more than trained persons that were in same age range. It could be just the latter by the wording but that's just me.
Zeke also trained n ripped, was good at baseball... But he still is shoddy at running... That's the sentiment... Ackerman abilities inherited from the paths evaporated, the same way they triggered when she was young. She becomes clumsy because after the ending, she didn't train anymore to be a soldier.
They were experimented on during the Great Titan war with the goal of creating even stronger titans. Even though they couldn't turn them into titans, they manifested titan like abilities which is why they're so strong. Hence, if their power came from the titan experiments, it would make sense that they disappeared.
Very interesting Q&A! I was surprised by the ackermann powers, but it helped to understand it better. I didnt like his response to the question of erens final conversations with the team. Of course it would be interesting wtf?! And he didnt even answered if Eren talked to Levi.
My biggest question of all time about AoT, is the following: after Ymir died and the titan power split, obviously, the attack titan was inherited by a subject of ymir . . . but who was the first to ever receive it? Did that person ever see inklings of the rumbling in visions and memories?
Of course Annie can't wrestle back. That's like asking Historia to wrestle Bertolt. She's short! Once you get her pinned, that's it. Done-zo. Fanfic writers, have fun
If I’m not mistaken, I think when Historia first became queen, she got all of the orphans from the underground and started orphanages with the land taken from the council.
im honestly a bit disapointed with this questions, even tho they cool little details about some characters, i think better questions could have been asked but hey still enjoyed
Honestly, I always thought that the titans on the walls were like empty shells. Like puppets created by Ymir. It always seemed more logical to me than turning such a huge number of people into Titans. Where did so many come from?
I think his answers belong in the “stuff Isayama wanted to include but couldn’t” box, right beside Mikasa and Eren kissing in S2. Stuff that would have been canon, but aren’t. Like do you really expect ppl to believe the hungry and wounded survivors to be able to lynch the hundreds of thousands (maybe even millions) of humans turned into colossals at the current state they’re in?
So Levi lost his powers too I mean he doesn’t need them anymore. But considering how long he’s been in the military compared to the others he’d still have his skills from it wouldn’t he and being trained by Kenny?

i wonder if they volunteered or if karl fritz forced them/picked them at random
@ maybe he realised way too many eldians went to paradis so he turned most of them into the wall titans
@ actually a smart idea to combat overpopulation, and similar to the military sending thousands to die in the failed mission to retake wall maria

The last Eren and Reiner conversation would be thematically very fitting for the ending of the story
They already had their conversation in the basement though.
